I like the new direction, it was needed. The new lines are distinct and non derivative of other brands. The new case shape, 904L steel and price points are all winners.

Hi, great video in regards to comments good or bad here are mine. I have two Bremonts, I have the original Supermarine S500 & Ionbird. I think the Terra Nova watch is alright, they look a little cheap and the bracelets looks a little blingey. The new Supermarine is awful, garish, cheap looking and looks fragile. I understand the brand needed to change for. For me the change could have been handled differently. If I was in charge I would have kept the original Bremont logo, colours & fonts because they had a classy & refined look about them. I agree they needed to add a cheaper line up to their collection and maybe make a less confusing collection of watches. I would have broken the entire Bremont collection down into 4 families. Family 1) Supermarine, kept the original styles of Supermarine but offer them in 3 sizes and 3 colours (34MM, 40MM & 43MM in black, blue & dark green). Family 2) Aviation, Alt 1 C in 3 sizes and 3 colours (34mm, 40mm & 42mm in cream, grey & blue) Family 3) Broadsword, Using the original Broadsword design but in stainless again I would offer the Broadsword in 3 colours and 3 sizes. Family 4) Legends, this line would not come in different sizes or colours it would just be small collection of their heritage pieces such as Martin Baker, S2000, Broadsword Bronze & Zulu Time. Once the 4 families are up & running you then offer out limited editions twice a year. Next step is to sex up the advertising, look at the Jaguar adverts in the 2000s using Mark String & Ben Kingsley, that is where Bremont should have gone. Not some guy going fly fishing. It seems to be a meh change, previously they had a story related to rise of British watchmaking and a connection to Ejection seats and so on, not the most exciting pedigree but definitely distinctive. Not it feels like they have wiped the slate clean with no history whatsoever, and there are too many nicer looking options at this price.

That change is the wrong change, Panerai still the best to me.

Yeah, no. Not like the new branding will detract or make anyone not buy the watch, but I just hate the compass look. I think the price point is okay. Hopefully the brand picks up.

You said you wanted comments, good or bad. For me, it's bad. I do not like them. Nothing noteworthy IMO. There are too many other better brands and better looking watches out there to choose from. Sorry.

Boo. Bremont went in the wrong direction but you guys at Oliver Smith being an AD need to put a positive spin on this...but the brand really disappoints now.
