I chose this exact same graphite finish on my Series 6 and man....it’s just gorgeous hands down. I owned the previous black SS Series 4 and was afraid not to like the graphite finish but no, it’s even more subtle. A very good comparison video, thank you very much 🙏

I had to go return my graphite yesterday after having it for two days. The SS space black 4th gen is just too perfect. I think they messed it up by making it way too close to the silver stainless steal. But I liked the video!

Wow, glad I found your vid... almost bought a graphite 6 w/loop yesterday, got delayed till today. Anyway, decided to find some reviews of the loop and the others all had the darker black. Was changing my mind to stainless steal as I thought they looked different/too dark (for good reason as I can see now). Will be ordering the (slightly lighter and imho better looking) graphite today :).

It'll be interesting to see how the new Graphite holds up with scratches. The Silver stainless steel original had a lot of scratches showing, but the Space Black did not (my Watch Series 4 is just now starting to show some wear and tear but scratches are still dark enough you have to look close to see them.)

I have the new series 7 stainless steel graphite for almost six months and it's the same like you, there's what they say "micro" scratches that you will see only if you get to look closer at it. I bump it into walls and things as i work and trust me my apple watch still looks new.

which one scratches more? it seems the old black is more resistant than the new graphite.

I own the Series 4 stainless steal gold and love this color so was quite disappointed when I heard that they changed the gold color on the Series 6. Could you make a video showing the difference in colors and maybe showcasing the old Milanese loop on the new Series 6 Gold stainless to see if I could at least keep the loop if I were to upgrade? I’m not sure how I feel about this color difference. I would appreciate the shininess of the graphite but prefer how you almost can’t see where the screen of stainless steel case begins on the space black.

Apple marketers knew that black stainless steel sold well. Maybe Hermes watches don't sell very well. How can Apple get customers to buy Hermes? They decided to make black stainless steel exclusive to Hermes and sell only with Hermes. Profit! Congratulations to Apple marketers, but for me, 2020 will be the first year when I will NOT buy my favorite black stainless steel in principle!!!

Just ordered a refurbished series 5 stainless in space black, but the new graphite band... hopefully the contrast looks ok or I will return it and find the old space black band on ebay or something...

Yeah replying to an "old" video.. got the Nike, exchanged for Graphite and replaced that for a Silver Stainless Steel... i guess i miss the Graphite and was considering back to a Graphite ;-} until I heard you say it looks tacky pairing it with a band that has Stainless Steel inserts (lugs/adapters) and my 2 favorite bands, Hermès Fauve Rallye and recently added the Hermès Kraft/Orange Jumping Single Tour. I believe I tried at least the latter and I thought it looked fine. I can decide on a tattoo within 5 seconds but this time around I can't make up my mind. Usually your videos help but this time, well it didn't haha ;-)

Thanks for this ! So im planning on releasing the titanium watch Hands-On video in 2-4 days. In that video, ill put up auminum vs titanium vs graphite side by side as well as silver aluminum, silver titanium and stainless steel. Ring that bell so you don’t miss it!

U know it's funny how in person you don't really see much detail with the stainless steal than you do on video haha.

I feel like they already had this color as the darker stainless steel option for the series 1 or 2.

I would say the graphite Apple Watch is more of a oxidized color.

To me, it seems apple ran out of color pigments for this year’s black and gold (figuratively speaking) both at times look like the original stainless steel 🤦‍♀️

Am I the only person that dislikes this graphite? It just looks like silver stainless. It’s not black. The space gray stainless doesn’t look black. The space gray aluminum doesn’t look black. Can they just make an actual black watch? Like iPhone 7 jet black.

Dumb move by apple, one of the perks of the space black Apple Watch was that scuffs were pretty much invisible, now with that graphite almost silver case they will be much more noticeable.

DLC inst scratched by PVD, but DLC-DLC, PVD-PVD, PVD-DLC scratch, so theres only one possible combination for the Apple Watch. The case is DLC and the band is PVD

Your voice over doesn’t matchup with the colours of the bands and for someone new to the watch we can’t tell which watch is which when they are side by side.

The graphite looks worse than the space black in my opinion.

Space Black can go with everything I wear and with my gold jewelry and the Grafite can’t. 😔

There has NEVER been a Space Gray stainless steel Apple Watch. 🙄 It was Space Black, Space Gray was only in the aluminum. 🤦🏻‍♂️ When you do the titanium version video be aware that the one is also Space Black NOT Space Gray.
