Helped me a lot - I’m pretty sure I’ve ordered the right size as I do like my bands slightly lose. I’m in NZ where the closest Apple store is in Australia - so have a 9 week wait for mine. Very good video.💥

Hey guys. I have noticed this problem in my case but I figured it out. I printed one without changing the paper size to 100 percent. When I measured, I got a 6. So according to Juan, 6-2=4. So my size is four. But when I printed out the same piece of paper at 100%, my size is a four too. So what I am trying to get at is Juan's measurements are correct, and you also have to make sure you print at 100%. I don't know if I am late to this or not, but I thought I would let everyone know.

Good advice: Use Apple's sizing tool. If you fall between two numbers, find the average of that number and subtract it by 1.5. That's your size. But if you fall on a whole number, subtract it by 2, and that's your size.

This is why I am glad I went to the store and had the chance to try the bands on myself before I bought them. I went and bought a leather band and did a exchange since I needed the med instead of large and while waiting I tried them on. I was between 6-7 and was happy with a 5 actually.

I fell on an 8/9 but they were sold out. I ended up buying a 7, but I was scared its going to be too tight. This video really calmed my nerves. It's almost like I got lucky with size 8 and 9 being sold out. Thank you brother. You've got a sub!

Planning on getting an Apple watch but have been wondering about the band. Can you tell us in inches what the length is for the 44mm one? is it 44mm wide and long? My wrist is just over 8 inches around using a tape measure like the one in your video. The guide tells me size 12 but am worried now it might be a bit big. Your thoughts please.

Hi Juan. After watching tons of videos like this, I decided to follow your advices about sizing with the solo loop. I measured both with the Apple printable tool and the normal tape measure: with the first one held really tightly to my wrist I was a size 5. The tape measure told me I was about 14,5 cm (or little less than 6 inches), so according to Apple my size is 4. But I was uncertain and took my risk ordering a size 3 for my Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop. It just came home and…IT IS PERFECT! So I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart, and maybe help other people who are struggling with the same issue. Your video was the most helpful one on the Tube.

Hi, my wrist is 15cm mesured tightly, Apple sais I`m between 4 and 5, I ordered size 4 online and waiting to receive it. Do you think it will fit well? Or size 3 will be better?

Did they update the measuring tool recently? I just bought a series 6 and the apple measuring tool with it's instructions showed me between a 5 & 6, got the 5 as they recommended and it fits fine.

If I am a size 6 in the solo loop and fits very snug, would a size 6 in the braided solo loop feel the same size or bigger/looser so i should go with a Size 5 braided solo loop for a snug fit?

I’m getting a braided solo loop for the first time and when I measured my wrist it gave me a measurement of 5 inches. Apple said I should get the size one in the 40MM but wouldn’t that be to small? Should I do like a size 2 or 3? Or when I measured my wrist and gave me a measurement of 5, does that mean I get a size 5 band?

I just watched your video, I was about to order a size 3 due to my wrist settles between 3/4 but know I’m unsure to order a 3 or am I supposed to go down to size 2?

Got some Apple credit and was thinking about getting a braided solo loop. I took my normal watch band and measured end to end when the band is closed at my normal hole size. If it measures 7 quarters what size should I get 🤔

I went to Apple for sizing. First I tried the sizing tool which put me between a 6 and 7. An Apple employee came out with a solo loop and a braided loop. They had a watch that I’m getting to try one with both bands. I am a size 5 for the solo loop and for the braided loop, I am a size 6. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info! I think I won't get one before I can go into the store (I am lucky enough to live near several). I can tell from your video that online sizing info probably won't help me since what most people want looks painful to me. That being said, this video helped me be sure I shouldn't order without giving them an in person look (since I don't have a current band to compare with).

In my case the Apple sizing tool was spot on. Landed in the middle of size 7 without tightening much, and in the line between 6 and 7 when pulling a little tighter. My wrist measured 16.4 cm pulling a little tight so Apple recommended either size 6 or 7 depending on my preference. So I purchased both (braided RED version) thinking I’d return the one that didn’t fit. Well, now I don’t know which one to return because both fit just fine! Maybe the 6 is a little bit too snug but not uncomfortably so. Maybe I’ll end up keeping both, as backup.

Do you have any solutions for this situation...I wanted to get a 44mm watch but they don’t have my size(3) solo loop...so I had no choice but getting a 40mm one. I have bands for 44mm(originally for my series 2, 42mm watch). Do I have to collect bands again or I can still get a 44mm watch and fitted solo loop??😔

Being someone who’s had an Apple Watch since the series 2 I remember the days when you could trade in the band that was in the box

The tool puts me directly on the maker between 9 and 10. Should I go for the 8?

I measure a size 5 with the 44mm. But the smallest size available is 4. Can’t go down two sizes like you said. What to do? Stick with 4 I’m guessing?

Thanks for the video. I also found the measuring tool to be incorrect, but it gets worse. The measuring tool said I was a 9, but in store the size 8 was perfect for the solo loop. So, a week later when I found the Atlantic blue braided solo loop available in store for pick up in size 8 I jumped on it. Nope - it’s too big !!!? Assuming a size 7 in the braided might fit whenever I can finally find one? For the record, Apples customer service has been very good though.
