I’ve literally returned over 100 bands over the last 5 years

From what I’ve seen, if you’re in between two sizes, go with the smaller size. The band will stretch out over time to the perfect fit, where as the bigger size will always stay slightly too big for your wrist.

Braided loop is the best band Apple has made. Very nice

So if the line is between 5 | 6, do I get a size 5 or size down to 4 with the Solo Loop? I want it to fit snug and not loose, but not too tight where it leaves marks.

Good to see you measured the right way and the band was a good size. I think a lot of people are measuring wrong.

Same. I don’t know why I got a 12 but didn’t want to wait long for the watch so I bought pretty quickly and didn’t have time to properly measure.

Gonna be honest, every third party band I’ve used simply isn’t as good as Apples... they are expensive for a reason, a tad pricey sure yes, but $2, you’ll lose the watch, I know a guy who bought a third party steel link and the thing just fell apart and the watch broke

I pre-ordered my Apple Watch Series 6 before they were released: however, I canceled my order and purchased it from the Apple store. Most importantly, I suggest purchasing the watch from the Apple stores, especially because of the solo and braided solo loop. Initially, during my conversation with the Apple customer service associate and using the measuring tool for my wrist; I was a size 10. HOWEVER, when I visited the store to purchase my watch, I was a size 8. Size 8 was sold out and I wear a size 9, which is comfortable, but a 10 would have been too large. I LOVE MY SERIES 6!!!

you can wash it yes. Also if it stretches you can throw the wet band into a dryer for a few minutes to shrink it back.

Could you post a picture/video of a blue series 6 with the charcoal braided loop on it? If you have the blue series 6 that is? For that matter, since the blue watch may look really good with other colour bands, a great video would be , in sequence to pair the watch with each of the available bands .

Fun Fact: You can the loop silicone ($3) and braided ones ($10) in Aliexpress now

It always depends on the light. Here we are in a studio with bright lights on them. They are more dim in low light but can still look rather bright

It would have been nice to show putting on the watch using these bands.

It’s recommended to chose the smaller size if you’re between sizes

I like the solo loops but, am worried that if you loose weight its going to get to big and then you won’t get. The correct reading on your workouts. I wish they made the braided ones like the sports loop. I’ve already ordered a few of the regular sports loop..Great video

Tested both Loops in the Apple Store. I especially liked the Braided Loop. The measurement tool is utterly useless though. I measured between size 6 and 7, but when I was at the store they told me, to always buy one size smaller then measured. And after trying them on, size 5 actually seemed to be the right size. Even with the measurement tools provided at the Apple store it was impossible to get 5 as an result. So I recommend to everybody to either try out for yourself at a store or to order a size smaller then measured.

Why did you show how to put on vs a buckle or snap band?

I ordered the braided loop. I printed the Apple tool and ensured it was printed out at the correct size by putting my credit card in the area shown. The Apple tool showed my wrist to be 7, so I thought to be safe I will order a 6 & 7 (as I have read some people say about going for a size less than shown). Well the straps arrived and the 7 was way too big and so was the 6. I've returned the straps and I have just ordered size 4 and 5 (size 4 is the smallest size in the 44 mm strap). Hopefully one of these will fit. Apple have put a note on their website that the Solo Loop increases in size over time. But there's no mention of this for the braided loop (probably due to them been different materials). If I was in the market for another silicone band, I would just go with the original one as its not worth the hassle in my opinion having to try and specifically pick the right size, and also when there is a chance of them increasing in size over time.

Is charging with the loop super annoying?

Wish I could order just the watch without a band as I already own several.

I didn't like the Atlantic blue braided strap in person. It is not as dark or deep blue as the aluminum case. The solo loop seems way overpriced but it is comfortable and the fit (using the Apple size chart that I printed out) was spot on.

The braided loop looks nice and comfy but I’m too scared to look up the Australian price 😩

What’s up with the number sizing why not make it a mm sizing so you could accurately know what size you should get...

Got charcoal braided solo loop via fedex today. Unfortunately silver colored “lug” connectors on the ends are visible, reflect/catch the light, and therefore clashes against my series 5 space gray aluminum, making it look like a poorly fitting knock off. I’ll be returning it. I also got the wrong size. I’ll need to be more careful about sizing in the future. For the record, it also snaps in to a series zero/sport, but the silver lugs stick out even further on that original model. *note: the lugs only come in 1 color, and as such are supposed to be unseen, per apples marketing images

I have owned the series 3 and the series 4 and the bands were perfectly interchangeable. The faces are a little bit different size, but the bands are exactly the same.

I’ve sized myself using the tool and it says a size 5. I think a size 4 would be too small but everyone seems to be sizing down. I can’t choose between the solo loop or the braided loop.

Go down a size. If your wrist measurement is a 7 go down to a 5 or 6

I still like the Sport Band better as the Solo Loop would hurt the resale value due to the different sizes.
