As a Superfan I see all of it!

PERFECT example of keeping design language but making it futuristic and eye-catching

The third brake light looks like the hood ornament on a '60s vintage Delta88.

I like it, a lot. I know a lot of people hate on Acura design, but that long hood-line...and RWD? I'm sold. Looking forward to the production model.

nah, people used to hate the previous design language from 2009 to 2017 which was called "Aerofused Dynamic" and featured their "Power Plenum" (aka the beak) but this new "Precision" design language (diamond pentagon grill, chicane DRL's) has been very well received.

This is actually awesome!!! I love seeing the creativity in these builds and I hope they hold onto a lot of this look from the comcept.

Love the channel, Kirk! And I love that satin Apex blue finish--hope it makes it to production on the ZDX! My Acura dealership in Fresno, CA is awesome and doesn't do these crazy markups that most of the dealers are doing. Overall--I'm a HUGE fan of getting rid of dealerships, but they are the exception! Looking forward to trading my '22 RDX in for one of the ZDX's when the time comes!

The car looks beautiful. But of all the concept cars, Mazda, Acura, Infiniti, and European cars, I am always disappointed when I see a production model, except for Lamborghini, Ferrari, and some Lexus such as LF-A and LC. I hope Acura ZDX will have unique and many wow factors in design. Not end up with "Another SUV, like everybody else."

If you look at the TLX concept and what is production I think in general they kept the general design of the concept

Cadillac is more geared toward the luxury buyer, although the Lyriq's interior feels premium level, which was done to come down to that magic 60K cost for a premium EV. Acura has always been a premium brand that's focused on sport car-like handling - they have luxury ambitions, but they are not quite there. In summation, choose the Lyriqn for a more comfortable drive; choose the Acura if you want a sporty drive.

I like the looks and color but 275 - 300 - mile range is a deal killer. They will tell everyone that it will go 300 miles per charge but in the real world it will never happen unless you're driving down hill in 60-degree weather.

OK, be honest, who predicted GM building Acuras? They are also going to be building the Honda Prologue.

Waaay behing!....At this point they all should be at least hybrids.

This looks like a vehicle they could make but they won’t , it most likely won’t look like this , when people see the concept vehicle that’s what they want and the price is going to be so high it’s going to be insane .

The only problem is see is that... Will they ever produce this car ? Most of these cars just remains as concept.

Not feeling it, this is literally will be driving a boat on the road. The anterior is too flat and that goes with the roof as well. The black plastic fender liner make the car feel cheap. And that small (prototype) side mirror makes it look even weirder better of just clip it and built it into the frame like Tesla.

A car styled after a powerboat? Usually, when a car is compared to a boat, it doesn't mean anything good. Regardless, I like my cars looking like cars, not like boats, fish or cryo-sleep pods from Alien.

It’s supremely elegant, like the Citroens DS and SM. Japanese design at its best is spare and simple. This car is simply magnificent and I hope they make it. Oh, I’ve continued watching (Iknow) and noticed that electric rear view mirrors are presently illegal in the US, this is ridiculous. Early Citroens had to fit inferior headlights to suit American legislation, which was later changed. I think the design aesthetic is similar to the new European and world HRV, which to me presages many similar design elements.

You know, precision and Italian motorboats don't go together well in my head. I like the design anyway though. If you are going to have a car that drives like a boat, you might as well lean into it.

wow, the blue-version of the Chevy Blazer looks great. Same failed strategy Honda used with Isuzu to get into the SUV market. I'll wait until Honda creates their own models.

GM is only supplying the EV powertrain, everything else about this is Honda/Acura.

@@wally6193 If they haven't had any recent mechanical failures with it, I don't see a problem. Also Honda/Acura isn't the type of company to just stamp their badge on anything...they will do their due diligence and make any necessary changes.

Car Companies make concept cars to tell us, look what we can make for the consumers, but we’re not going too, but please keep buying are less unappealing models. 😋

I owned Hondas and 1 Acura for years and loved almost all of them (the TL was amazing) - but I don't see why anyone would buy an Acura now. To me, Mazdas are just as good if not better (value too) in every category; Genesis exists now; and if you wanted a true luxury vehicle you'd be buying Mercedes and so on.

I believe they're working with GM until they fully develop their own EV architecture. They needed to get in the game before they become irrelevant, they just don't have the tech yet, so they're working with GM.

@@orangeflames05 Nope, GM and Honda are hooking up. Honda will be building an Ultium battery factory. GM is getting out of the sedan business so expect a Civic EV and Accord EV version for GM.

Sometime being a little late you can see with a different perspective of do's and don'ts. At least they are doing something to get some playing time VS sitting on the bench watching. Would you prefer that out a major car brand?

The production model gonna look nothing like that. Acura decides to make a suv with mediocre range, this thing will get boring real quick. It wont stand out with all the other boring electric cars. Acura needed to make its first EV the NSX!!! An EV sports car would've held the title as fastest car ( since the Tesla Roadster basically got scrapped) Acuras transition to EV looking boring as h3ll. Might as well stick to making gas cars or hybrids

Acura Precision, LOLROF. Acura Precision was in the 90's now they are junk and this one will be built in the GM plant with Cadillac so you know the quality will be piss poor. Sad really sad.
