In this scenario, I demonstrate a street proven method where I approach a suspect, apply a technique, and restrain him. Upon attempting to do so, he strikes. The strike is 'diffused' due to the technique applied. What I call techniques, others may refer to them as 'Pain Compliance Techniques', PPCT's - Pressure Point Compliance Techniques or even in hospital environments, Positions Of Discomfort.
