I have this handbrake set (disability, right lower leg amputated) and had it installed by my dealer when I bought my Spyder RT in 2022. Since then I have driven around 18,200 km in 15 months (seasonal license plate) and have had no problems. I can easily recommend the handbrake. I think the handbrake set could also be an alternative for motorcyclists who switch to a Spyder after decades for health reasons. Thanks for the informative video, Martin!

Hello Martin, Great job on the install of the Handbrake Kit, it is very extremely well designed and I am very impressed with the report saying it preforms 4% better than the foot brake.😎😎

Hi Martin, I love the handbrake conversion and wonder why Can Am doesn’t fit them as standard. I’d love to fit one to my 2020 RT Ltd but unfortunately the kit is way out of my price range. Keep up the great work 👍😊 2:44

You can cut out the top part of the footbrake, so nobody will be able to see that it was there, but lover part under the pegs or floorboard must remain de to patent moving the whole thing

Martin, first hello I watch your channel often, great work. I would like to know if this brake can be installed in a 2015 ST Limited or not and why if possible. there are not many things you can do with the 2015 ST.

I think brake-ing with foot its signature thing of Spyder & Ryker but yes i was never really 2wheel rider. As for price, yes.. but we can do brake kit for 500 eur easy,. But it wont be tested neither 100% i can say - safe.. and its No No for me

@@MartinTheVlogger Foot braking is mainly for tricycle approval, to avoid (with to this system) the motorcycle license in certain countries. Dual braking from the start would, we agree, be an additional cost for BRP (and for us users), but it would at least have the advantage of satisfying a much wider audience (motorcyclists and disabled people).🤔 That it is'nt even in the BRP catalog is especially surprising given the scale of it and the customers who are not necessarily young or in good condition who buy this type of vehicle... At least one solution exists, as well as others, but they all have one thing in common, a very high price. A BIG plus for comfort and feeling, but at this price, it's clearly a brake for me (a real one!🤣)...
