Hand brake cable on FN2 Type R 8th Gen | walk through replacement guide & proper adjustment process

So this was a guide for replacing handbrake cables on an eighth generation civic type RFN2
Unfortunately, due to the heat, some of the video didn’t save, so I’ve pieced together as much as I could.
Fraying off, the seized handbrake mechanism on the caliper was simple enough. I soaked the entire mechanism and WD-40. I manipulated it with a socket an extension bar which I slipped over the arm. Working backwards and forwards, freeing it all up.
The cables themselves were from auto dark. I’ll put the part numbers below. Make sure you’ve got some new bolts if you intend to do this job.

Brilliant vid doing this today right side stayed on and was smoking driving on the m62 chancing discs and pads while doing the cables

I have the cable too loose, I really need to tight that 10 screw almost to the limit. How do I fix this?

You fix that with the adjuster in the car under the centre console from inside. If that doesn’t work the cables will need replacing 👌

@@Matty_Champwhite I just stretched the cable to the end, in the caliper, than started adjusting in the adjuster. For now it's working

Supercharging is very easy it’s the Tuning, which will require a professional. Depending on what kit you use make sure you’ve got at least 750cc injectors and an upgraded fuel pump to go with it
