aa357 Well, to be fair, something to that direction is one of the ideas i have had in my mind to try along this time but my planned, and executed, experiments go beyond just screaming into a microphone. I would be stupid to only use one instrument and not explore all the other wonderful textures of noises available everywhere waiting to be captured and used... having said that, i have been capturing some really nice, loud and noisy sounds in my field recordings occasionally. And i have got at least two noise-related concept albums, either on an idea-level or work-in-progress. :)

The entire premise is that it is supposed to be abrasive and unenjoyable, but the experience you take away from it is in fact the enjoyable part: When you reflect on your own negative thoughts and feelings that the work made you feel (through metacognition) that is what would presumably be enjoyable. In other words, the art is your reaction to this performance, and the performance is a facilitator or the art experience.
