I don't think I have any Figuarts, but they do look damn amazing. I have a few Figmas though which are pretty good.

Yeah, Han's Hoth jacket was actually brown, but came out blue-looking on film. In the time since toys have focused at least somewhat on pleasing collectors, many Hoth Han Solo toys have been released in both blue and brown variations to please both camps. Also, as Alec mentioned, that face-printing tech on the Figuarts Han is also coming to The Black Series.

Seeing Ashens' reaction to the SH Figuarts Han was a pleasant experience. It made me happy to see him so genuinely impressed with the figure. That being said, if he's interested he should definitely check out more of them (or even Figmas) - I have a bunch of Kamen Rider ones & adore them. All of them come with really cool accessories, like their different weapons, & usually come with about 6 pairs of different hands. The best part, though, is that they can stand on their own in just about any pose you can put them in.

That third and fourth one all I can see is Nathan Fillion and fat Nathan Fillion.

Action figures are more serious in Japan, so the technology there to make them is more advanced. You can get nearly any anime or game character, and it looks identical to the real character, there are action figures for real Japanese actors and idols as well, it's no shock that when they decided to make a western man like Harrison into a model also that it was high quality.

Mego did a fairly excellent job with the head sculpts for the 10cm Star Trek: the Motion Picture, Buck Rogers, and Black Hole figures. Actually, those figures were exceptionally well done all around. And Micronaut Aliens, too.

Solo #2 looks like Dr. Brian Cox. That figure should be remade in a QI set as the toy that makes every other toy on the panel seem just as smart as Alan Davies.

S.H Figuarts and some other Japanese Action Figures might be expensive but damn, a lot of them are really worth paying the price. I'd like having one of the Bruce Lee Figuarts.

I was around 10 in the late nineties, and I collected literally every single figure available at that time (or at least 98% of them lol). One of my favorites was the Ewok pack, where you got Wicket along with one of his Ewok friends (the one with a bird skull on his head!).

The Han Solo from Return of the Jedi, looks like the Cyclops from Krull. You know that actor that played Oscar Wilde with Jude Law. LMAO

There was a earlier one with removable vest, I had it as part of the episode 1 line with the "Comm Link" voice chip gimmick, it had weird articulation and I believe was repackaged with one of the big plastic carrying cases for figures shaped like 3PO or Darth Vader.

There’s one you missed. There was a Han Solo figure which was meant to be him in the torture chair from Empire Strikes Back, however the figure itself looks nothing like Harrison Ford and instead looks like he’s a constipated 50 year old. I had that one when I was younger.

Stuart was the most excited I've ever heard when he saw the glove hands.

“Solo: A Star Wars Story” made Han’s name infinitely less cool. Now I understand why people hated midichlorians.

I can hear it at 12 volume. Don't know what these folks are talking about when they say it's too quiet.

The Black-Haired Han Solo at the beginning (second one) looks a lot like Prof. Brian Cox and I still have that Hoth Han Solo when I got it for Christmas 20 years ago.

The shfiguarts figures are incredible. If you ever want to collect action figures, they're pricey but oh so worth it.

The QuickDraw solo... I had many friends in kindergarten who had that. They hated him with a passion.

For the price of them all you could have bought a Hot Toys one, though. And THAT is perfection. All the rest looks like Roger Wilco.
