We all have some memories that make us feel identified with the name of the song. It always hurts to remember those things, but we cannot stop thinking about them, because we are deeply relationated to them. That’s how the life works.

Jake Colvin So sorry about all of your struggles and challenges, your house burning down sounds extremely devastating. I hope you have support around you such as family or friends. I definitely know what you mean by happenings in life. In the last year in a half I’ve lost six people two friends and four aunts.💔 Lately I’ve lost my grip with life it’s like I’m existing and not living and I don’t know if I even want to maintain or stay within this world/life. It has really hurt feeling the grief and heavy waves of profound loss. 💔🥀 I do wish you the best always Jake, this music I listen to when I weep or feel alone within my sorrow...

Start meditation. I know these are just words. But I have been there done it all. Happiness is finding the divine within yourself. Everyone has a light in them. You just need to ignite it. And let it grow. Meditation is the gateway to the divine. Go out in nature. Feed the animals. Keep doing it. Suddenly you realise you have ignited the light to a brighter and more powerful source, i.e being touch with the divine. That's all you need. I know it's been a year you have left this comment but i really hope you read this. God bless you and everything will be ok. LOVE & LIGHT

Our loved ones are just on the other side of the veil separating the physical from the spiritual world. Remember this veil was rent in two from top to bottom millennia ago. Soon the veil will be removed and what was hidden from us will be unveiled. This music helps one to endure the trials until that time arrives and we can perceive them once again.

14 years since I first bought "Ketonic" and got into these guys. They still craft some of the most moving soundscapes. Their sound has refined over the years with each release. As devastating as it is calmly to sit through and patiently take in your visual (which the less obtrusive audio perfectly supports), I found my life's major losses (and therefore wounds) lessened, dissipated, purged if even by a small degree. No small feat in the making of art. Thank you, very simply. For it is the super-intelligent (also emotional IQ) application of the Pharmakon (paradox) effect to an otherwise intractable attack on our physical, mind-ful, or spiritual strength. Anything, anything at all--small as it may seem--to break into the pathology (downer) and set me as living organism on a more upward path. A most powerful *token* I can grasp, keep, take out again, turn into a less corrosive memory. A certain blanket or soft toy; the "good-enough mother" or father or sibling or friend or poignant work of art as "transitional object" (British psychologist Winnicott). TransitionAl here = the truly helpful transition out of failed grieving and mourning from a massive loss. Nietzsche: "We have art lest we perish of the truth." Yeah, the best art accomplishes this purpose. Art for life. You did it. And I can't help thanking you again. For me; and more so for all my brothers and sisters who walk this earth as the new year 2021 approaches. Mark (from Arizona USA)

Sublime, poignant, so human. What a singular song and video. 🙏🏼 Edit 2024: it is me reaching out to my son who left this life in 2006.

Loved your music for years. I love the art to your music videos. It's so eerie how some of it (especially this video) is similar to ideas I've had if ever making my own to your music. Beautiful!
