Man, I'm 26 and Hammock has been part of my life for 11 years now. I can't even explain what I feel when hearing these songs and think of what I've been trough these years. Hammock vibrations just make me go back in time and back to myself.

I am 26 too and same!! 12 years and the videos are amazing! I am glad I kept revisiting the songs on YT even though I use spotify now. I just always came back here and finding these recently posted videos was a humbling surprise (:

Man this girl seems to be going through the different stages of grief. Which is exactly how I feel when listening to this music before even seeing the videos. It’s like you know how it will make us feel and in some ways can read our minds. Hats off to Hammock and the writer and/or director of these “music videos”

Honesty of expression, this is what i like about this band.. They have been doing this for so long now, they don't care about making it big or write the next number one hit.. They just want to express their emotions and what's in there heart ..musicans like this will just put there stuffs out, it up to us to find the hidden gems like this band.. Huge respect.. You guys are in my top 10 list..

Every damn thing about this song is so magical. It brings out feelings I’ve buried away deep, only for them to resurface. Idk it makes me want to cry, but at the same time it fills me with so much hope and wonder about life and it’s ephemeral nature. Hammock is breathtakingly beautiful, as always. ❤️

I've come here to say that every time I hear this song, just right from the start, all my cells start weeping, I've a very special bond to this track, I don't know why and I can't explain more, I just feel detached, a perfect melody for introverts who wanna be in their own shell away from distractions, in the world created in us by us for us. you can't calm the storm, so stop trying and calm yourself which is what you can do, the storm will pass.

And glad to see Jessica again in another video, i loved her in Sinking inside yourself, one another and tape recorder.

Just discovered you Yesterday with Californication. I'm so glad to hear your music .

The cat at 4:41 reminded me of my cat which I had since 2008, as they look so identical. But he was sadly hit by a car back in 2011, I ended up finding Hammock later on, and I listened to it every single day. Something about this ambient post rock music helped me through a very difficult time, which almost had me losing my life multiple times. Seeing the cat in this video put me in tears while listening to this. It's been over 10 years since my cat passed away, so I guess this video tried to remind me of him to remind myself how far I've gotten in life in 10 years. But what I learned from this loss, is that; Losing someone is not a reason to lose yourself. And whoever person with a painful loss reads this in the future; It's only temporary, it may take 10 years or even 20 years, but be happy that it takes that long to get over the pain because it truly meant you cared and that you loved. You're a good person.
