I don't get some of the hate that Hamilton gets. He seems like a stand up guy. He can obviously win in the right car. Dude has a reason for being a little upset. Now, would he have won in a Ferrari last weekend? Can't believe Ferrari is letting Sainz go. Deal of the century for another team who needs a driver.

Mercedes either has real issues or they're bamboozling lewis hamilton.

I don’t think Toto has used the excuse “the dog ate my homework” yet.

In the seventies (1973) Ferrari had pretty much the same problems as mercedes are having now, but Enzo hired Niki Lauda and the problems were sent packing.. at a rapid pace! Long live Niki Lauda. He seems to be all but forgotten now... not even a red 3 point star to honor his enormous contribution to the sport and to Mercedes.

As a Hamilton fan, the way Mercedes are performing this year is completely unacceptable, they keep on making the same excuses about their poor performances instead of taking some responsibility. This is only going to get worse throughout the season.

They keep saying there's a correlation problem between their windtunnel and simulator back at home and what the cars do on the tracks in real life. How difficult would that be to resolve? The windtunnel may be a costly thing, but a different simulator would already solve much of the problem in my opinion. If it works ib the windtunnel, then there's an obvious problem. The clue is that obviously the tracks aren't billiard table flat, so although the windtunnel data shows how the car would perform in ideal circumstance, the simulator should be able to simulate bumps as well, so there's your problem Mercedes. There's also a second problem and that's that they don't seem to be able to learn anything anymore from the track data, as they keep running head first into the same problem again and again.

Aston does NOT have two drivers of race winning quality.

It’s not what we want as f1 fans. I’ve been an RB fan since Weber was ‘the man’, and I think we can all agree that 2021 was an absolute stonker! Regardless of where you allegiances lie, it was what we wanted, a fight to the last point. But watching Merc fall apart with one of the best to ever do it has been heartbreaking. As a scientist, changing 20 things at once gives zero information as to what the issue is. In my humble opinion, they need to run the same thing every race and change one thing and identify the ACTUAL problem and then address it. They are so well prepared for this and seem to be failing at what seems to be simple problem solving

Ricciardo and Mercedes seem to fit each other. Driver full of excuses should drive a top team full of excuses. As they said, barking dog seldom bite.

Mercedes seems like the type of team where a talented junior engineer has the answer to solve their problems, but nobody higher up will listen to them because of ego.

I am surprised the Mercedes Board hasn't made changes in the team - this is embarrassing for the brand.

Eventually they should start experimenting with Russell. Why give Lewis an idea of what you're working on for 2025 over the driver who will be with you and should be helping you give direction for your future car. Let Lewis struggle, he chose to leave for Ferrari.

When Mercedes ended third and second in the constructors championship, Hamilton did not even won one Grand Prix each year. Verstappen won each year in the Red Bull behind Mercedes (and Ferrari). @@michaelg6686 How is not? It's called Formula 1 for a reason, Red Bull figured it out, the other teams haven't. It's not just car and driver. Succes is earned in F1 by the effort of every single person in the team from engineers to pit crew and so on. New regulations won't change that bud and disregarding earned dominance like that tells me you are not a real fan.

@@michaelg6686 The Formula, that's what's to figure out. You can have a million time world champion but they won't win unless tue rest of the team applies the Formula correctly. I don't think Lewis has lost any skill, he's in a rough spot because he has no quemistry with the team and the team isn't delivering. I'm sure he'll be back in shape at Ferrari but nothing is written in stone. We'll have to wait to see if they can compete next year against Red Bull. Hopefully they will but like I said, succes has to be earned, World Champion or not.

I mean no matter how much loses, Lewis will always be the greatest it really made sense that he signed with Ferrari and will be racing for them in 2025, since Schumacher retired the sport ig started to go as down not like when Schumacher was the face and hype of the F1....lewis saved f1 in 2007 now he is saving f1 again next year..lewis has always been wanting to go to Ferrari, they've been in contact with him more than once over the years....I think its a right decision Hamilton will be in Ferrari, and just like what Seb Ves said "everybody is a Ferrari fan"
