How hiring the "Performance Director" of a non performing car ( consecutive 3 years now ) is good for Ferrari ? These "heads" should bear the responsibility of their failures as they are always at the forefront to enjoy the fruits of success.

That’s exactly the reason why They are leaving Mercedes those are the Engineers that Was told to Shut up and Engineer just as they told Lewis to shut up and Drive They wanted to change direction of the design development of the w13 but it fell on deaf ears and now this is the result of not listening 🙉

This whole Mercedes downward spiral has been sad and pathetic to watch. And hearing Toto Wolff making excuses every race is absolutely hilarious. First year was a one off, second year was like ok what are you doing. And now here we are in year three and they still haven’t got it right and it’s straight out embarrassing.

Mercedes were far too blasé about losing key staff while they were still winning. They still haven’t addressed that at the time they need the best people more than ever. Their downward momentum is looking as baked in as Ferrari’s continued improvements. If they sign Newey as well you’d have to say that Mercedes next championship would look years away.

Yep, why would you want to sign people from a team that isn't doing as well as you are. Ferrari is outperforming them, so WHY would you say we can build a better car than you, but we want to replace our talented people who have helped turn around our car's performance with these people. If I worked at Ferrari, I would take that as a slap in the face. Not loved. How motivated would you feel?

Mercedes gave too much power to Lewis. Practically gifted him several championships in a car that was already champion. Now it's come to bite them in the rear.
