I served in the US army, did multiple deployments to Iraq. I also served in the IDF during the Gaza war of 2014. I’ve seen a lot of barbarism in these places, mostly inflicted on their own people by Islamic militias and so force. I saw the unedited videos of the oct 7 attack and it’s like nothing I’ve seen before, it’s on another level of horror. The world needs to see the uncensored videos and then see if they support hamas then.

I've been amazed at what I have been hearing as far as people not believing what happened, believing the photos of kidnapped kids are fake, etc. I have even seen interviews of protestors who somehow do not know that Hamas attacked Israeli civiilans on Oct 7th.

It's not pretty. I lived with the nightmares of my father and his fellow solders from WWII and a strong as man may think they are it takes a toll deeper inside. It was rare that he or others ever spoke of it, but on occasions some things were said, and you too begin to understand the horror of war and also begin understand why they do not want to shed the nightmares onto others.

@@axle.australian.patriot my grandfather only told two people what he saw in WW2 and Africa. One was a war medic himself in Iraq and I know some of the horrors he went through. My mum still doesn’t know what he saw. Neither did my Nan. I think it is astounding how short peoples memories are. There are still people alive who lived through it and children of those affected by war. I cannot understand how people can be so filled with hatred.

@@r_shan2506 I struggled with some of what I seen with my father when I was young, but gained a better understanding as an adult. Also a lot of his commando training showed through with life lessons that he tried to teach me. Much of the understanding came from correlating scant records and American video records etc from the conflict with Japan. So I kind of matched things that I heard from them with records of the events. Sort of added a bit better context as an adult. > "I cannot understand how people can be so filled with hatred." I do understand but it's a long pathway and discussion down the psychology rabbit hole. In short though "Good will" is still a fundamental principle in our society, but it has limits when we talk about defending ourselves from wrong doing.

Did this idiot watch the video of Israeli attack helicopters and tanks straffing, launching missiles and firing shells at the music festival venue as recorded on film? The propaganda and lies coming out from Israel are biblical in scale though laughable in quality. Israel is responsible for killing the majority of the people there with indiscriminate fire under orders. This was a false flag from the start and set up to be with Israel dropping all border security for 7 hours. It is even forecast on the front cover of The Economist from 22nd December 2012. I can't wrap my head around how young people in our culture, who get outraged over every injustice, over the slightest hint of discrimination against a self-defined minority, over the perceived inaction and carelessness of their parent's generation regarding environmental issues, are not outraged over these atrocities. As a German, this hits me especially hard - I never felt the actions of my countrymen in the Holocaust as personal guilt, but as a warning of what humans are capable of doing to others. Ensuring this is not forgotten, I saw and still see as my personal responsibility, beyond any sense of guilt. What I currently see and hear regarding the murders by Hamas leaves me bewildered - if future generations place their urge to take sides above empathy, then our world is really lost and will perish in a vortex of narcissism.

Take a moment and read one of the stories of October 7th attack: An entire family was found in a room, 2 parents, and their 2 kids in front of them. All were shot in the head. Their bodies were tortured. The mother without hand, father without legs. Their kids, one 9 yo boy without fingers, and his sister, 12 yo without a foot. They probably tortured the kids cutting them in front of their parents, and then shoot them all in the head. Hamas terrorists then dragged a table to that room and sat to eat while the bodies are there. This is just one story. The stories and videos are so disturbing that they can cause serious trauma for those who see them. The world must never forget what happened. The world must understand what Israel has to deal with.

The part about phoning home and the mother and family also happy is what I find most disturbing. All I keep hearing is about the innocent people in Gaza. We ALL know that a significant percentage of the population support Hamas and their actions.

Haaretz is reporting that Hamas says they only kidnapped soldiers and that it was civilian Gazans who kidnapped Israeli civilians. There are two main reasons you hear about the innocent people in Gaza: 1) Hamas totally controls every bit of information coming out of Gaza. Notice you NEVER heard of Hamas terrorists killed in Israeli strikes (not now, not in the past). All you hear are inflated numbers of women and children killed (and you don't hear the reason - that they are used as human shields by Hamas). 2) The media: Al-Jazeera, the BBC, CNN, MSNBC, Sky and others - are so biased it's almost funny - the ridiculous excuses of NOT calling Hamas - "terrorists", the reporting of the Gaza hospital bombing (which was proven to be an Islamic Jihad mis-fire and of course - no apology and no condemnation of Islamic Jihad), the list is endless. It is truly a sad, disturbing and scary world we live in. Douglas Murray is a light in this enveloping darkness.

I've seen most of the footage Douglas is talking about. I think it is easily available on the internet. I still can't sleep properly, and my mind just can't accept the fact that what I've seen is real. Living In the West, we tend to forget the very existence of true evil. Evil is there, and I'm afraid I have no answer to it. What makes my trauma even worse is when I encounter people either negating these events ( calling it propaganda ), justifying it, or even worse : endorsing it...

When I purchased an Israeli flag and raised it up the flag pole, here in Michigan near Dearborn. I focused my mind on the first sight that I saw of that day. The terrified, bewildered,bound, helpless woman, bloodied and dragged by her hair to the jeep. No mercy, no hope just a fiendish, ghoul as her master. Her fate sealed with not one sympathetic ear to hear her, not one merciful Palestinian eye to reflect pity. No mention of her from the so-called tolerant rabble. I am forever grateful that I am not one of the mindless mob that delusional mass of people who are selective in their outrage. But there is a price to pay. You may be one in ten thousand, one with fitful nights, while others move from A to B to C in their day. Not raising flags, not losing sleep. But if you are honest you would not trade your place with their carefree lives.

Did this idiot watch the video of Israeli attack helicopters and tanks straffing, launching missiles and firing shells at the music festival venue as recorded on film? The propaganda and lies coming out from Israel are biblical in scale though laughable in quality. Israel is responsible for killing the majority of the people there with indiscriminate fire under orders. This was a false flag from the start and set up to be with Israel dropping all border security for 7 hours. It is even forecast on the front cover of The Economist from 22nd December 2012. The cognitive dissonance is absolutely astounding, beyond anything I could have believed of my own countrymen. It shows you just how easily evil ideologies can spring up in your own country and how atrocities can be allowed to happen on your own soil. I've heard people say it's only right that the pro-Palestinian marches happen on Armistice Day because they are calling for an armistice. Pretty sure that ending a long and bitter world war to stop fascism isn't the same as torturing and brutally slaughtering 1,400 people without declaring war and then trying to hide behind the legs of your UN daddy when the consequences start raining down. While deliberately hiding your personnel and weapons in schools and hospitals and refusing to allow civilians into the tunnels you built for your soldiers, ensuring civilians are murdered instead of you, so you can whine to UN daddy even more. I've heard hardly anything from anyone about October 7th. And I've heard no-one actually blame Hamas for what's happening to Palestinian civilians. Just "How could Israel dooooo thiiiis? It's a genociiiiiide!" Palestinians are not your enemy neither is Islam. There are people who went back to read the full Quran (Islamic Book/Bible) in order to understand the mentality of Muslims we should all do the same and check the book fully Just to noted mathematically speaking all territoriest attacks carried by extremesit of Muslims suggests that they don't make up 0.1%. So we judging the 99.9% who do not carry territoriest attacks based on the fear that the media induced about Islam. This math assumes that there is a million Muslim extremesit which if so impossible but we are trying to be wild. That is bigger than the US active army that is how impossible it is. And still leaves 99.9% peaceful Muslims (1,800,000,000 Muslims) It is insane how simple math disproves bad reputation of Islam yet it is very much the agreed upon in western media

When I read about some of the atrocities committed on the 7th Oct I vomited. My guy... I don't know how to tell you this but... they do... The Iranians DO have nuclear weapons. They have been very smart though in how to do this, play the long game, infiltrate and so on. they know that if they WERE to fire a nuke, there would be response and immediate eradication. But this way? Having infiltrated every western nation, and every western body of legislation, the western media and used social media to pure perfection, especially TikTok, which China allows cause they don't like us either... yikes.

Did this idiot watch the video of Israeli attack helicopters and tanks straffing, launching missiles and firing shells at the music festival venue as recorded on film? The propaganda and lies coming out from Israel are biblical in scale though laughable in quality. Israel is responsible for killing the majority of the people there with indiscriminate fire under orders. This was a false flag from the start and set up to be with Israel dropping all border security for 7 hours. It is even forecast on the front cover of The Economist from 22nd December 2012. Hamas is a tool used by Isreal and TPTB to justify what Israel does and wants to do. Murray is another bought and paid for pseudo intellectual like Peterson and Shapiro. Unpleasant man. Maybe its the LGBT agenda Israel promotes that attracts him so.
