I don’t know how after seeing this video anyone can say “ ceasefire now” and that Israel is responsible for the civilian casualties in Gaza. This was started by Hamas. Instead of calling for a ceasefire now, why not call on Hamas to release the hostages now.

Unfortunately creating divides like this dont serve humanity and in the long run these sorts of statements probably lead to a lot of avoidable tension and issues. Probably your issues with islam result from you not having a good enough education regarding the matter, or some deep insecurity you have that you aren't good enough for some reason. Its important to go and meet diff kinds of ppl, and do it in an open and curious way. Set your ego aside, and maybe you will be surprised to see that there are good and bad ppl of all faiths.. Making this seem like a religious issue is a sad reflection of your own inadequacies. However it's also a sad reflection of the state of affairs in 2024.

I think she was trying to help her feel comfortable to be honest, and help the story along. Though calm and eloquent, the young woman looks still traumatised to me. Can't be easy to face cameras like that.
