Very nice install. I could have used this set up on my cargo trailer. I was backing my trailer into my drive way and a genius decided he didn’t want to wait the 30 seconds for me to correct and back up. He decide to go behind my trailer onto the side walk . My neighbour yelled and stopped me . Saved me from an accident. We had a few words to say to that moron. I have to almost jackknife the trailer then pull ahead and back in place . Takes maybe a minute altogether . People have no patience or common sense anymore and I live in a school zone. Karma got him a week later, he got pulled over for twice the speed limit in the school zone .

Yup those people attract drama 🤦🏻‍♂️ I love my new setup and it gives me so much confidence when solo moving the trailer 👍

How many trips (over the decades) had set-backs of enjoyment from folks learning how to holler and motion with hand signals and learning to back a trailer? Not to mention having to gauge how close one is with aligning the ball/hitch w/o a mishap. These tools look to be getting better and better.

Yes - I totally agree - And going solo, the constant get out and look so you don't hit something 😄. The trailer manufacturers should make this standard - But I guess they would have to agree on a cross manufacturer protocol to use for the signalling. But it should be done.

I’m looking at these systems, thinking maybe a wired in system from Cab Cam … not entirely sure yet. I had a factory installed Voyager wireless on a Cirrus truck camper. The display was poor resolution. It was handy as a shirt pocket for hitching trailers by yerself. Thanks for the video.

The wireless units have come along way and the video feed from each camera is 1080p so it's pretty sharp! They do get compressed with the multi view but I find the left/right view is my default. Plus just replacing the marker lights for install is very simple 👍

I work for a fire rescue department. We have a lot of issues with the wireless cameras. If possible could you please do an update video in a month or two?

Sure thing!! I did notice that the rear camera at speed does show some artifacting sometimes, but I'm thinking the aerial is moving. Haloview does sell an aerial relocation kit for about $20 so the aerial can be place in a better location if needed 👍. Overall the 1080p display is clear & bright and low latency.
