I have the Vision Works Camera System that I got from TechnoRV. It came with a Furrion mount adapter and a Furrion wiring adapter. Plus it came with AC adapter plugs to power the cameras. It’s a great system.

Looks like a good option. I installed a Haloview over a year ago, with a 5" screen and two cameras. One camera for the trailer, and the other as a backup camera for my truck. The truck didn't have one. It has been worth every penny for hitching up the trailer by myself, and the trailer camera has been handy for parking it by myself as well.

We have this camera system as well. It has performed without any issues. I hang the display off the mirror use small bungees.

I agree the companies know that the Majority of these are Furrion ready, they should make a plate to go on first then the camera to cover any holes of "Most" Manufactures. Great video nice and easy.

i had a voyager on my 21ft toyhauler which came with the voyager mount on it and it worked great! i kept the unit when i traded up to a fifth wheel which has a furrion prep so i need to swap the furrion plug on the new camper to the voyager plug.

I agree with you on not wanting extra monitors on your dash. I am going to be purchasing a 5th wheel in the near future, and I've been researching to find a camera setup with rear and side marker cameras that can connect through an android device or Car Play so I can pull the cameras up on my existing screen. So far, I haven't been able to find anything that will work how I envision.

J D just a quick comment I know in a lot of gm trucks gm started doing away with the 12 volt adapter and cigarette lighter stuff especially on the newer models because the market went towards e cigarettes but that being said if you look on the dashboard you should see a nock out plug that can accommodate a power port that you can get from your local parts store and can run a wire to your fuse box to wire it up using a piggy back plug to solve the problem you also can put one on back of the console because the wiring harnesses do have a plug and play style plug in them, thanks for the great content always

Correction is it 5 amps 60 Watts at 12 Volts. The new USB C 2.0 will support 5 amps at 48 Volts or 240 watts. Not sure if you can upgrade the USB C Power Supply to support those new standards in the GMC but would make a good UPGRADE.

test it while driving. i found that the "Driven" brand camera that came preinstalled on a former camper of mine, that if you were not moving or backing into a spot slowly, the camera would work. once you were out on the road driving, you basically would out run the signal of the wireless camera. i now own a class a with a hardwired camera, there is no more lagging or loss of signal, i don't know if i could ever go back to a wireless camera.

My new to me Rv is wired for this brand I haven’t bought one yet, what I really would like is the side markers just for safety, my camper is only 25 ft so usually just move over some and check my back and watch my side mirrors my family has hauled horses my entire life. Now saying that backing up is a challenge for me not them. But I do get it done.

I have been looking everywhere for a “rear view camera” instead than a “backup camera”. The difference is that for backup you need a wide angle, but for keeping the camera running as rear view mirror you need a narrower view angle otherwise everything looks far away even when they are tailgating you. One possible solution would be to “zoom in” in the screen. Does this Voyager setup allow it to

Have you found any differences in the signal strength when in motion? I don't have a camera yet but with the TPS that I have I found the base unit could monitor the sensor fine with the main unit up in my view but when moving it couldn't and I had to move the unit closer to the back of my truck (I haven't installed the repeater yet which would help). Just interested if you have seen anything similar with any of the camera you have reviewed?

So good to have something that works well. It would be great if you can find a way to integrate it with the truck's own display. Why is the image reversed? Shouldn't the ladder be on the left and the tire on the right of the camera? Wouldn't that be a bit disorienting when backing up?

Couple of thoughts/questions: 1) How's the display? Haloview had an awesome display, but when wearing polarized sunglasses you have to tilt your head 90°s to see the screen. 😅 And the Furrion 7" display is dull and not very sharp (making it very difficult to use as a rear-view camera). 2) I wonder if you could feed the inputs to the Wolfbox mirror. It looks like everything is built into the screen and doubt it has an RCA output on it, but if it did, that right there would push me over the edge to get a system like that. 😎

I had the Furrion 3 camera system with 7 inch display and it was nothing but a disappointment. Less than 2 years one marker light failed. 3 years and the display has lost range and no longer picks up the rear camera. I tested with a second camera, still no luck. I refuse to spend more on the system so I'm out over $870 and of coarse they wont stand behind it. Just replaced it with a single camera unit off Amazon called the Yakry Y28. Much higher quality picture. Everything feels like better quality. The display has a t slot on the back and I was able to get a t slot ball for my ram mount. It also included an after plate and power cord for the Furrion mount. It was $180 - $35 coupon so much cheaper than the Furrion. The only draw back is they don't offer a decent side camera but you can pair up to 4 of their regular cameras. It does include 2 cameras with the kit. I've tested at 100ft with no issues.

Should have notched the back wall an inch up and slid that plud up enough to cover the existing holes, would have made a much cleaner install.

Maybe it is just me, but I noticed that the camera view seemed to be reversed. I would think that would cause problems when backing up if it is indeed a mirrored image. Other than that, the image looks crisp and clean.

I'd rather have the ladder on the back. One less thing to store. @5:40... Does Voyager have a system with 3 cameras, like Furion? I have the Furion with two turn signal cameras and a back-up camera. On my next rig, I'd try Voyager if they have a similar system. @13:50... I'm a little OCD... I'd make sure the rig is level side to side and then put a level on top of the plug before installing the second screw. I have a 4" level that's perfect for stuff like this. @16:05... Ford wins again. LOL. I wonder why nobody has a moveable camera yet. Mt Motorhome has a rear view camera that's only a tiny bit bigger and I can move it up/down and side to side from inside the cab.

It's annoying to me that the bracket on that ladder isn't sold. I have the exact ladder withiut the bracket from my old trailer. I bought a new trailer with the lippert mount. The bracket could easily be attached to my old ladder if they sold it. Im not spending $200 to buy the exact ladder. In the mean time, I'll just use other securing methods.

This would have me sold if the screen mounted to the rear view mirror. The rear view mirror is essentially useless when towing. Tadi Bros offers one that is ~ $600 that I am going to consider. I think you suffer from this is too many devices on the dash. The last thing I want is yet another one.

Thank you for this video. If I ever buy an RV with the Furrion camera prep, I now know to buy the Furrion camera so that I don’t put holes in my wall. It would’ve been safer to have gotten a Little Giant type of ladder 🪜 and worked directly in front of your work to avoid the potential of falling. Safety first. Also I predict that GM will bring back the 12v due to your reviews, but is there a place in the truck other than your windshield to place the monitor, such as just in that cubby hole in your dash of the 450 or somewhere else in the GMC? When I use my Garmin in the Equinox I put it by my gear shifter so that I can just give a glance where I need to turn. Hope the camera works for you.

They don't come with a ladder so that they can upsell you on something that used to be standard. A $50 permanent ladder? No no! You get to buy the $300 Lippert telescoping ladder! Separate! It's becoming a joke. Pretty soon you won't even get doors. It'll come equipped for the Lippert door system. Oh, you want a spare tire too? Well, looky right here! This unit is prepped for the Lippert spare tire system! Just have to buy the mount, wheel and tire and you're all set! I should stop now. Lippert probably reading this getting ideas.
