Halo reach in my opinion had the best story, Halo 4 was eh, no offense to anyone who loved Halo 4, never got to finish odst. Halo reach was the saddest all of them died trying to fight for their lives.

Firefore TCG’s the sad thing is noble six witnessed all of their deaths

And one time, I started up Reach and tried to customize my spartan, but this was my first time starting it up, so everything was still locked. In spite of that, I clicked on the armor pieces I wanted as if they were unlocked. I didn't think it did anything, but when I started up the campaign, my spartan had those armor pieces.

"So sad, we couldn't save him. Now. Let's drop a pelican on him."

I know this "Can you save.." series is more meant to be funny and so on but well in the end, Halo is War and Halo is death. Would be cool if we as players had a real chance to save them somehow but that's just not how it works sadly. But that's what makes the Halo series so good and emotional.

Spartans are made to fight. Their missions are mostly always suicide missions. I think personally that if you have the chance to sacrifice yourself for a good cause, then it's worth it. Noble 6 had the same idea and he knew that someone had to protect the Pillar of Autumn. He made sure that Humanity had still hope...that's what matters.

@McHooter yes exactly. I was thinking the same thing, what they could've done is put some marines in a falcon or something and the falcon would directly transport the marine to the rail gun. If the elites tried approaching the marine sitting in the rail-gun, the marine piloting the falcon could shoot missiles at them

you can use your energy sword first you gotta Jump Past the brutes and taturus and stand by the ledge and lunge at him you just gotta time it right but if you do he'll fall but respond 😂
