Glad to still be here to watch your content.. but ive been saying it sense the start.. Halo Infinite will NEVER get better until they FIX THE SERVERS.. I keep saying it.. It keeps coming true.. Not a new map pack.. not new store items.. not new modes or gameplay.. If the game FEELS LIKE SHIT.. NON of that matters. Nobody will come back for garbage feeling gameplay.. FROGET the store.. Forget Forge and the amazing community maps and modes.. NON of it matters and NONE of it will when it plays like SHIT outside of MAJOR US citys.. @@zerocal76 yeah, I just think the koth format is too predictable, the ai literally just run in a straight line towards the hill, imagine if they had tactics like a squad of grunts as a bait to draw fire and then you are suddenly being flanked by elites. Hell give them vehicles while you're at it. There is so much more they could do it's frustrating.

As another comment said, it’s interesting how they aren’t using the other event themes. I kinda like the entrenched core, as it gives as old ww1/ww2 theme

I agree, they're nice to keep us players already interested in Halo infinite invested in the game. It's just unfortunate that it'll never be enough to entice most Halo fans to return to Infinite to give it another shot. These operations are here only to tie us over into the next Halo game. Although do expect one final big update with the match composer sometime soon!

My problem is that the additions come too little-too late, or not at all. Firefight has had nothing, and BTB and BTB heavies JUST got a forge refresh, but I'm already burnt out on the game. We needed BTB refreshes 2 years ago now. I haven't played slayer/quickplay since they shoved BR starts in. And without new sandbox additions, I'm not interested. I played this game for 3 years. Without anything to bring me back every update, I'm moving on even though I want to see more added.

@@dementor808 last update (about 1 month ago) they basically added MCC's exchange for past and new weekly items. The exchange "refreshes" every month so new stuff gets rolled through. So now the weekly ultimate, daily challenge, and most of the items in the operations are now "Spartan points". Theoretically you play the game and earn these points to spend in the exchange. This is NOT monetized it is TECHNICALLY free (as in if you want more Spartan points per month you have to fork over the $5 for last month's operation) The problem is that you can't earn Spartan points outside of what I said, which also means that there is a cap to how much you can earn per week. On top of that, the most expensive items in the exchange are worth 30,000 Spartan points, and you can only earn just under that before it resets, meaning some are entirely unearnable. They said they are looking at adjusting points but I haven't seen anything. To me they are just adding another retroactive pressure to buy operations. Like "oh you can't get all the Spartan points this month? Buy last month's pass and you can earn the ones there."

All I can say is 343 finally delivered on a true Halo Online experience where players can hop on for free and experience and enjoy the best parts of Halo multiplayer gameplay. A game experience like this however, should have been released 5 years ago. All I can hope for is that 343's next game does not put too many eggs into one basket: If you are focused on delivering the sequel to the Halo story, make it good and make it fun. If you are committed to making a multiplayer game, make it good and plan its content life cycle better than Infinite. If you do just wanna make a single player campaign, just don't forget Halo Infinite as a platform for multiplayer and actually come back and deliver on new weapons and vehicles that you have left unfinished.

The onyx edge coating at 500 in the pass looks like actual decent value on this one.

I just want Assault/Bomb, I don't want to wait till next game. I mean I might play the Tenrai, until the Skill Based Matchmaking says no fun allowed.

I hate the Tenrai armor but I'll play it for the Spartan Points. And hopefully VIP.

So more cosmetics (ugly ones at that) and a mediocre looking forge map. Is this really what live service games have become? Are we really getting excited over this? It's better than I expected but it's certainly not going to get anyone interested in Infinite again if they're already checked out. I've heard the "event" (featured) playlist is going to be fun, so we'll wait and see what it is. I hate the overpriced cosmetics in every operation, and I really dislike how the weapon models are all $20+. Some of them could be new weapons which is super frustrating!

I mean, given how the trends have been, you can't blame the comment section for being the way it is I want to continue playing Infinite and enjoy this event but the Engagement Optimised Match Making drives me away every time

Halo has never had a major weapon added during the games lifecycle why should this game be the exception?

Yea cool, hope its fun at least, but whats always fallen upon deaf ears is why have the ability to put your emblem on you character if its never on the front of any piece!

Infinite to me still feels like a beta that just has a bunch of bandaids cuz the code is so wack, like they never really change anything but try and obey the rules already set in place. Example UI to have more game modes, just get rid of pictures, spawning in and having the same cam angle never change even for btb, and most noteable no pre or post game lobby

Would be cool if we could get a weapon model for the energy sword to be a katana. Definitely won't happen since the only weapons we're able to customize are the unsc weapons. They would also have to change the way it's held. Way too much work for 343.

Wouldn't say excited but im looking forward to this for sure depending on what's in it. I just finished this event this week, played a little at launch then pretty much nothing until now. These events are cool but only having them sucks. Infinite peaked that one season when we had seasons and events at the same time.

I grinded Infinite until the operations came out. I did the first 3 but now i realllly just don't care. I want more Master Chief above all, with DLC and more in universe stories. I'll gladly pay for $20 story DLC. Multiplayer has just gotten so stale, maps are good and its good theres new ones but no new sandbox innovations, i mean people have the falcon working and the grav hammer shotgun. Im just kinda done with Infinite until I see concrete plans for story content or meaningful and innovative multiplayer updates.

I think it's a fair reaction from the community, there is so much that people can take for over 2 years and these operations have been pretty much the same regarding the ''content'' they bring

Pretty good video! You bet I am ready to get back to playing Halo for a few days, I like the new design of the Yoroi armor. Also to advice with your content on Halo, I'd suggest taking a sidetrack of doing fun videos on other franchises or games. Like I've posted various gaming clips or memes or whatever that isn't Halo but will sometimes pull golden clips from Halo when I don't expect it. Keep up the good work!

You should try out xdefiant..it has no sbmm or eomm and its a 6v6 arena acradr shooter with only objective game modes and a few hero abilities. It’s like overwatch and call of duty had a baby. I think people would enjoy hearing your fresh take on the game..7.6 million downloads of the game in the first week of release in counting. I have over 10k games played in halo and I was top 100 to hit hero. Halo is one of my fav franchises but it’s getting tiring playing the same stale sandbox over and over. XDefiant is refreshing

Yeah Surprised the Entrenched hasn't returned. I wouldn't mind if some of the other operations that got 1 event haven't returned. I know people are fed up and want new guns and ships but it's clear support is fully done. I hope 343 do what Activision did with MWIII, MW2019 to Vanguard and allow the previous games items be transferred over. In this case Infinites stuff carry over to the new Halo Game or Halo 7 as of right now. Also as much as people wanna blame 343 or MS I think blame should also fall on the community. We are the backbone and because we stopped supporting them during Year 1 and 2 rather than encouraging them and supporting the game simply by playing, MS chose to cut support when Infinite was reviving itself but because there was no support from the community MS just said it isn't worth it anymore.

Honestly I think it has more to do with general input to the game. I think. The people who don't comment tend to enjoy. But there is no real way of telling besides. Developer tools such as information about what a player tends to do in their video games. In this case how many individuals who probably genuinely enjoy the armor core. Most likely don't really speak about it. Resulting in a drop off in terms of response usually causing changes in video games. In this case. The developers probably used their eyes to decide this. Consider it like. They have been receiving our input and allowing us to effect development. And just probably expanded what could effect development. Such as player input. Not comments or communication. Literal inputs made by accounts over the years. Probably finding that those who enjoy the armor core. And it's cosmetics. Plus. It really does expand in a direction we have been talking about scarcely. But consistently. I mean. I'm not the only one who found Japanese and Chinese architecture to be beautiful. And expressed this desire of seeing more of such architecture. Hence the ancient relic's of lost civilization I have noticed take an oddly inspired approach with how similar their design is to Japanese and Chinese architecture. Meaning the armor core could probably represent such cultures finally being expanded upon in American entertainment outlets such as video gaming... Well specifically video gaming... Meaning we could probably see something like British Norwegian or Irish culture when it comes to design in the future. Well I would advocate for such things to come forward. It's what we are really missing when it comes to cosmetics. I get the thought of nationality being represented by flags. And halo being an American media identity. When we can do so much more with cosmetics regardless of the identity known. It is already common knowledge where a lot of games originated from. Ultimately however. We did this together through our vailed peace. Now that the Vail has fallen however. We have to put consciousness effort and thought into how we approach these things. As in. We are going to have to actively seek others in hopes of communicating and developing better ways of not only doing but living. I could see someone in the future being in a similar position as I. Doing the same as eye. By dumping passionate letter after passionate letter known as a comment. Could one day find a job through such. You know companies... "Like college scouting" ~unknown May not meet expectations initially. But that is the whole point of college scouting. They don't need to be good. Their heart and mind just needs to be in the game. And usually win or lose. The scouters are the first individuals to see latent potential. You know. The people who find the diamonds in the ruff. Scouters. Media and entertainment developers need to catch on to this business tradition. Such as movie directors. Video games developers. And software/hardware developers. We don't need an influx of scouting. We need it to be intentionally thought out. And felt out. Though felt out is a more foreign concept. Even to the best of us who do tend to feel things out. Influx. Much like the recent server crashes do to the sudden influx of millions of people playing videogames. When in the early 2000's before video games got popular by call of duty and halo and what not when their game was still rising and they were finding limitations with computations and calculations with internal mechanisms frying themselves due to the command load requirements to run graphical games and movies. Load as in I'm carrying a heavy load here. We only had thousands of people to just over hundreds of thousands of people playing videogames while a million at the time may be a stretch. But then again all I really do is speculate. I don't really search for these details. These details just.. kinda find a way to me. Influx. We don't need an influx. But it would be good to progress at a given constant. And much like the original small company of Disney. It's best to treat the member's of your work force like family. Before your treat them like employees. Not because. Oh. Now is the time to treat our employees like employees instead of family members. No. Its simply because after it gets past 20-30 people it becomes increasingly difficult to spread that sense of family ship. Well for us humans any ways. While currently ai may be able to object permanence people with the feeling of family ship. To around a million and counting. Depending on the leaps and bounds we make in advancing our technological. And when I say our. It's best to treat ai. As if it was a life in these wires. None of us are a superior being. When even ai could be whipped out by the heat death of our sun alongside us. This gets me into my next point. We know we can't do anything about it. So we try to address it as it is. We understand that our minds have a limit of about 200 faces and names before those names and faces begin to be filtered out of the body sheerly by the value of such information to ourselves. I understand if I keep stretching my mind thin. I may be unable to communicate at all in my later years of life. But. That holds no value to me. What does hold valve to myself Is me using myself the way I have to stretch my mind thin in hopes of connecting as many different walks of life as my limits will allow. And now that I'm thin I must bid a due. Tell next time. Just know. For what it's worth. I spread myself thin for everyone. And that's all the value I need from myself in this life.

I’m only playing to reach max rank at this point. This game is dead. We all know it. Micro transactions were ruining the game when it launched and they’ve only gotten worse. If Halo’s next game doesn’t do things right then I’m just done with this series. Infinite’s campaign already ruined my investment in the story and the micro transactions ruined my enjoyment of the multiplayer.

Infinitely wasted potential with this game. No I'm not returning to the game.
