Also worth pointing out that 343 might be waiting for the networking model to release before dropping any new sandbox items. I could 100% see them dropping the Falcon, Mutilator, and Stasis field with the new networking model in CU30. Fingers crossed!

Remember to keep expectations low. To them, sandbox items might mean more weapon models and cosmetics in the shop rather than new weapons and vehicles at this point in time, the bare minimum I ask is we get to have those leaked items before they completely ditch Infinite.

I think all vehicles need a Nerf.. their health buff plus the regeneration field was way too far. And I'm sorry but the benchie either needs to be nerfed or needs to be able to blow up when you crash into things.. there are way too many people dive bombing into the ground at full boost and taking no damage from any of it.. Vehicles are the lowest skill play styles you can pick due to their crazy health and they're insane aim assist and bullet magnetism.

@@Carpediem357 He's just making a joke, but I don't think it's wrong for Halo fans to want some cool stuff. Expecting a new vehicle or weapon is not unreasonable.

To me, dropping the Network Model with the Match Composer makes a ton of sense. The fact that they also said what Ranked playlists will be permanent when the Match Composer comes in the last community update tells me that it must be pretty close to finished as well.

I Honestly think the unbound plasma pistol and impact commando could use a buff, though if it came down to onen or the other, the unbound needs it the most. Also, while I think ripping the flight sound of the reach falcon wouldnt necessarily work, modifying it slightly to fit with infinite's sound design would likely work Edit: My own suggestion for infinite's sandbox is to create a set of weapon variants similar to halo 5's relic sword, where the variants behave more like how they did in other games, such as a plasma pistol that can emp, rockets that can track aircraft and a gravity hammer with an instant swing and a reduced AOE

I think the biggest problem with it is the model, which I get why it is what it is... but I think the optic on it makes people think they can still use it at range, and it definitely is inaccurate beyond a few feet lol.@@armstronggaming8566

The drop shield should be instantly up after deploying. Like the bubble shield in h3. It was so cool to blast an incoming rocket right in time withe the bubble shield. In infinite u are dead and 5 sec later the damn shield deploys😵‍💫

They need to fix the rebound ravager and impact commando! Also, I feel like the wasp is super weak. Especially against ff ai. And yeah, the banshee is abysmal. 343 did a terrible job in emphasizing the banished and their might.

After all the disappointing updates, should we be excited?

That's a fair way to think especially after CU29, but I do think CU30 will be much better. Time will tell, but I think CU30 might be one of the last big updates for Halo Infinite, wouldn't be surprised if 343 went all out to release all the content that's almost finished.

None of the recent ones were really disappointing Does the latest shop system suck? Yes, it does; but the content itself has been pretty damn good.

Other things that have been leaked years ago that we still haven't seen: Juggernaut, VIP, and Sidewinder Remake.

What I really want back is the $10 (1,000 credits) battle passes, actually had something to play towards. The free passes run out so quickly, and I didn’t mind the 100/50 tier ones.

If we didn't like operations and voiced it louder they would've reverted back to the original event system just with the inclusion of non expirery. They reduced the BP to 50 as a test too. S5 was one giant experiment and I hate to say it as good as S5 was we fell right into the experiment

I feel like the commando also needs an ammo reserve buff. 120 isn’t enough for a weapon that fires that quickly

Still waiting for vip, assault, and juggernaut. Medals for those modes have been in the game since Launch!

The gravity hammer should only work when hitting a solid (floor, wall, Spartan). It's infuriating dying to someone whacking thin air when up high

Happy to see that 343 finally found their footing with Halo Infinite. I would love to see Spartan Ops (guess this could be done through forge now) come back as a story telling method alongside the multiplayer cutscenes. Be pretty cool to see the Falcon and Double Barrel released but I'm also okay with one or the other.

@@HDfromNJ I think this last 6-8months they’ve done a real solid job. I keep forgetting Infinite only came out 2-3 years ago. That first real year and half was horrible. But I find myself back on Infinite more and more recently

I think they can bring the weapon variants of the existing weapons from H5 to Infinite since it doesn't need to balance for competitive, but also add some flavor to the sandbox. (The Hydra variants may need some sort of rework if they want to port those two in)

I hope 343 doesn't nerf the Ghost's Unlimited boost because I really don't want another vehicle like the Wrath with its limited boost. But I'm not sure if the Banshee gets its own unlimited boost for a buff would be useful for battle or specialty in a dogfight with Wasp or another Banshee, I think it would be annoying if you tried to gun the Banshee, with unlimited boost, down, it's used would be useful for players who choose the "Starscream way". Maybe I'm wrong and it would be worst than before, idk. But I doubt that 343 would added the ultimate boost to a Banshee.

I wish I could be this optimistic, but I feel like the remaining sandbox items will just be piece mealed. If they even release.

I would love to see the railgun and also the spartan laser in Halo Infinite. Perhaps also more classic enemy weapons from past Halo games and maybe Dual Wielding weapons in Multiplayer.

If 343 is going to release the falcon, they better give it that weighty and helicopter feel to it just like in Reach. Couldn't help but notice how it acts more like the wasp in the leaked videos demonstrating it.

Banshee needs either a lock on for the missile, buff the main shots or more HP. Wasp needs a nerf in its HP or a nerf in the machine guns, they could do less damage to shields or have bad precision. Ghost needs a nerf in HP, the wings could be easier to break with normal weapons and/or that weak spot it had in H2 and H5

Although its a minor thing, I do hope they also add a bit to the crosscore landscape. Even something as inane as the wrist or the utility sections would further add to the customization, though I'd be happier with more firefight content. KotH gets a bit boring after awhile.

God I need the Banished double barrel shotgun in game and I do hope that all this is the case I mean they have a junior sandbox designer still so I hope they can finish things or get a promotion to lead,but we will see. BTW you know the Helldivers at home map? Well I played it for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to find a few of my and Banished prefabs were used in it mainly the ring research site,laser cutter and a modified command tower in the distance .

Some things id like to see from 343: 1. Playable elites armor core (not compatable with cross core) 2. Addition of existing lore weapons -carbine -beam rifle -needler rifle -OG plasma rifle -Dual wield small arms (SMG , Magnums, Sidekicks) -OG shotgun 3. More vehicles that already exist in lore. 4. Multiple operations launch simultaneously for each armor core. (Players earning items for the armors they like the most) 5. Full cross core armor pieces (this one may negate the item previous)

Would also love to see the return of the Saw (LMG) - that thing just SHREDS. 11. Ive wanted this since the first Halo, a useable Jackal Shield only usable with small arms or an energy sword. Would take place of an equipment item and still balanced enough that it can be shot around like in the campaigns. But provides enough cover for mobile melee player

I am still surprised they have not put out any new weapons beside the Bandit/EVO (aka the DMR). I wished they have gone the route of how the REQ weapons were done where there was mutliple variants of the base UNSC weapons doing different things like suppressed weapons making you not visible on the radar, a muzzle that works extremely better on taking out shields faster, or making more variants of the weapons besides the ones for each weapon. Halo 5 there was more than one variant of the base weapon but they all did different things. It not that, then add new weapons. As much as the Stalker Rifle and Shock Rifle are great, they are not true sniper-type weapons. Don't know why the Banished could have their own version of a beam rifle or perhaps still have a surplus amount of the covie version that they use for themselves. Like bring that back. The fuel rod cannon, the carbine, the brute shot could've been brought back but more so designed by the Banished. New maps and game modes are cool and all. But the sandbox needs to be freshened up. Halo Infinite basically had the same weapon list plus the addition of the Bandit and the EVO variant. The equipment has been the one that has been changing the sandbox a tad bit but that is just a small change to how the game is played. We are at a point that we may never get any new weapons added as much as I would want that. It sucks considering there's many weapons, from past Halo games, that they could bring back but and change up the sandbox with new additions.

343 never managed to truely capture the magic of Halo's world and myteries. Their maps and content just feel like they are missing some part of the mystery and awe the games used to bring with Bungie. No, I'm absolutely not a Bungie fanboy. I played quite a bit of Halo 4, 5 and Infinite and enjoyed them all, but we can't deny Bungie just had and still has a form of magic in their world building just like at Destiny 1 and 2. On a basic content front there is not much I can say except for the fact that if we ever get a new Halo MP game that they HAVE TO release it content packed and complete. They can't afford to release a barebones product again. No Forge at launch? Failed launch. No Customs Browser at launch? Failed launch. Less than 10 arena maps for 4v4 and less than 5 maps for BTB? Failed launch. No challenge / progression based unlock system with good armor and weapon skins as rewards? Failed launch. They can't fuck it up again.

i do really hope that some weapons get some buffs in the future. Like you said, the ravages rebound sucks, as whenever i fire it just bounces all over the place and never reaches its target. As for sandbox additions, I’m 50/50 on my hope for the addition of the mutilator and the falcon. On one hand, i’d be really happy if those sandbox items would be added. On the other i wouldn’t be surprised if they weren’t.

Oohhh and add Assasination animations!!!! That was so fun jumping off the edge of a cliff and shovering a spartans face in the dirt. Ugghh

The banshee needs a buff on controller, but on MKB the banshee is ridiculously overpowered. I was veteran level with using the banshee in Halo 5 and Reach but none of those skills I learnt can help me win a dogfight against a MKB player. They can turn way too fast in it so barrel rolling and flipping makes literally no difference. If anything, nerf the turning speed on MKB and buff it on controller so it's actually fair. This also goes for most other vehicles like the wasp, ghost and wraith. Those 3 also have an unfair turning advantage and I'm seriously surprised and kinda disappointed that no-one mentioned that.

Then there’s me hoping for playable elites at some point

None of those vehicles need nerfs. The Ghost is fine and the Wasp and Banshee should definitely be getting buffs. No idea what they mean about the strafing and the commando i agree with should go back to how it was when the winter update hit

I want the infinite banshee buffed, the only to use it effectively is to use the land shark strategy or just to hover around weirdly. I don’t remember if the vehicles were buffed up or not but if they were, It still feels like I’m flying a paper mashe plane. I hope this ain't just me, but also the commando rifle just doesn't feel good to use either. It feels like i'm aiming with a sniper, the recoil is tremendous, and it feels far too weak.

I don’t see the reasoning behind asking for a Wasp nerf. They’re easy to take out. If anything the weapons need a buff. Pretty stupid how a direct hit from the missiles doesn’t kill. Maybe it’s just the desync but the guns don’t kill very quickly either.

Also, Halo shotgun should've NEVER been changed EVER... the SHOTGUN use to be a staple like you never wanted to cross someone with that even when you had a sword. Now the bulldog barf..... The sidearm needs to be less firing and more damage. Yes the Banshee is not the strongest anymore.... Which is super sad that piece of equipment was a pinnacle in Halo moments. Getting to fly the Banshee felt so good for the first time then it came to multi-player wowwww. It use to run circles when you could fly it correctly but not anymore. I feel you man, seriously Halo Infinite should have remained the core multiplayer for Halo, while 343 and Certain affinity work on separate Campaign experiences. Halo Infinite should keep evolving with more vehicles, weapons, and modes. It's an odd decision, but I do understand it. They want to move to Unreal engine instead of staying on Slipspace which apparently makes life impossible for devs.

Just a quick question did 343 already hired a sound guy already or are they still looking for one?

Personally, I'd like to see all recoil AND bloom to be lessened on the commando since they both make the gun really bad to use. If bloom was decreased, it would still suck since the recoil is so bad, and vice versa. That and more ammo, at least 25 rounds, but my hope would be 30.

At this point I expect nothing from 343 and I'll still be disappointed

Personally if i could have any Sandbox tweak right now and it wouldn't really be asking much IMO but knowing 343i it might be pulling nails at this point, would be a more traditional firefight option since that's all I can stand to play anymore now and by that i mean let's give king of the hill a break for god's sake it's getting stale and boring how about adding score attack, blam, arcade, and sniper fight. Let's get some more vehicle variety in there and make the Phantom more in line with previous Halo's that thing is impossible to destroy without using 2 to 3 rocket launcher shots and it continuously keeps coming back while its auto cannons aren't breakable, have aimbot and if we can nerf the skimmers that be great I swear those flying bastards swarm every wave and cary every variety of weapons at all times snipping me out of nowhere while trying to crowd control the hill and I've been playing regular firefight not even the other options cause I'm trying to get that Hero rank within my lifetime.

In my opinion, the best possible scenario would be to release the Mutilator, the Falcon and the Stasis Field in the next update but also being the last sandbox update. Worst case scenario would be having nothing.

The more I don't play Halo Infinite. The more I want to play it. Ranked in Cod sucks and sucks in pretty much every game. Come to think about it. When I did play ranked in Halo Infinite. It felt like an actual game which I cared too much about apparently. 🤷‍♂️ I wish more people played Infinite honestly. It's almost a game to look forward to play after a long day of work. Ranked with the boys.
