Man, the "finish the fight" theme from Halo 3 was the perfect choice for this trailer. I'm really really expecting that 343 art direction for this game has a lot of halo 3 and reach influence.

It's a hybrid of both styles which I find really interesting. The Created will be a new faction of enemy so of course they'll be 343Is own style. Not sure if we'll see the flood or the banished, but they already lean towards the classic style anyways. I honestly can see it touching on various Halo games for influence. Every game from CE to Reach has no doubt had some kind of influence on the new art style. I'm pretty hyped to see what they do with not only the art style, but the music and gameplay too.

Also, maybe I'm expecting so much, but I would love some things like: A soundtrack with some old Halo themes like "Mjolnir Halo 2" or "Brothers in arms" but with a new music style like this finish the fight theme for the trailer. Classic designs for the elites but with a Halo 5 Arbiter's armor style. And my favorite, u remember the direction Reach campaign had? Those camera close-ups and the movement that made you feel like you were there that night with 6 and 3 in the Nightfall mission. The.Hype.Is.Real.

@@FlatExpression That's not confirmed, but so far it's expected that we'll at least see The Created and The Banished. I'd imagine we'll see The flood too though, although I doubt we'll see any branch of the Covenant, since The Banished will likely take that role. Either way I'm excited to see what we'll be shown in the next few weeks.

i remember watching the reveal on my couch live and didn't expect a halo reveal the very first game shown, and i ended up smacking my head off the wall behind me in shock when Chiefs Helmet appeared.

Marty and Michael were a godsend of a duo, the fact that they managed to give just one piano note so much soul and meaning is beyond impressive.

i think they were just flexing the engine that they were gonna use (that probably was gonna be halo infinite but they realized it wouldn't run on anything less than a quantum supercomputer)

If it was up to Bungie, we wouldn't have had Halo games after Reach. Bungie wouldn't want to make Halo again, nor would they be capable of making a Halo game that would please the hardcore classic fans. Not everyone agrees that Bungie are better than 343I. The fact of the matter is, we only still have Halo thanks to 343 Industries. We should be thanking them for keeping Halo going, not hating on them for not making Bungie style Halo games. I think I speak for a large majority of the fanbase when I say, I certainly don't want to keep playing the same game forever. Each game needs to change and evolve from it's prequel.
