I mentally checked out at Corey being older than a HS kid and getting bullied by HS kids. The apprentice/"Buddy cop" angle they used to tie Corey and Michael together. And the fact that he killed his mom and her BF was the cherry on top of my distaste for this more haha

I can appreciate them trying to do something different for an ending. We’ve already had Laurie Vs Mike standoffs. We’ve already had the town coming together to Kill Mike. They just wanted to switch up. The Corey storyline just wasn’t the way to do that lol. But I think it would’ve worked better if it was Laurie and her Granddaughter Allyson. Vs Mike and Corey.

Yo the opening with the lil kid dying was a great setup. But they kept fumbling throughout the movie. The corkscrew was funny but the torch was perfect for who it got done to. The was Laurie walked like Mike into the kitchen while he was putting on the mask gave me that "oh yeah" feel. Great way to make sure he was gone gone.

God I LOVE the old set up. Thank ya again Tony!

They gave Michael a nurse! 😂 Made that man look old. You took the words out my mouth. That "apprentice" move should've came in the first one so it could've built up.

Hey Tony. Thanks for another great review. For the record, Michael "feeds on" life force of people he kills and rats. In one of the other Halloween movies, when people were searching the house, you can see partially eaten rats in Michaels resting quarters. I know...super sweaty over here. But yeah, down in that sewer, he was eating rats because he wasn't strong enough to chase and kill someone.

I love Tony's reviews, but mostly because I just love Tony, lol. I really watch his reviews just to hear the funny stuff he says surrounding his opinions on the films/TV shows.

If you take the ending from Halloween kills and put it into Halloween ends and then take the ending from Halloween ends and put it into Halloween kills the story makes perfect sense

I like the rob zombie Halloween movies more because they go into more of Michael myers past. My one complaint about the whole Halloween series is that we never got to see Michael’s face without the mask, but overall it’s my favorite horror series.

In regards to his diet, while not explicitly explored it can be assumed that the vagrant outside the sewer might have been a source of delivery for Michael. He may have provided him some food from time to time, as he mentions he seen and knows people go into the sewer and don't ever come out. Additionally we see rats in the sewer so it's possible he might be consuming them or the people he took into the sewers to kill? I know he isn't a cannibal and to even suggest it is ludicrous, however within the context of what we were provided with in this movie, I wouldn't entirely say it didn't happen or possible.

The first Halloween is the best. Now that I have watched your review I will be saving my coins! Thanks!🙌🏾

The original plan for Halloween 5 was for Danielle Harris' character the become the new killer. My favorite Halloween is the og original.

The beginning was good! I liked that. The whole movie would’ve been great if it wasn’t a Halloween movie. I needed the showdown with Michael and Laurie. And I didn’t like how they blamed Laurie for everything. Like they didn’t know the man was crazy n killing since he was a kid!

I still feel like Rob Zombie made the best 'Halloween'.

If this was a spinoff it probably would've been cool, but you can't have it be "Halloween" and have Mike only in it for 10 or so minutes. And I really wish they explained why he was weaker all of a sudden. Laurie said the more he kills the stronger and more unstoppable he gets, at the end of kills he slaughters 20+ people.... 4 years go by and he's fading away in the sewer. My only assumption is that his power was connected to the house and since they tore it down he started losing strength but that was never mentioned.

He was old and weak so they had to make him weak so that his sister could finally put him away make s sense because otherwise she wouldn't survive but horrible way to end the franchise like the way they did

I liked this joint but I definitely see your point. I liked it because it was different. Honestly they could’ve used even less Mike in my opinion. BUT I see how if you wanted to see Mike and Laurie fight, I could see this being disappointing.

I hope that Halloween has truly ended! I have no plans of seeing this one, but your review was great. My favorite Halloween is probably the 1st one.

Michael myers eats live animals 😂…if you go back to the original movie series its shown in one of those movies before H20 and Resurrection This whole new Halloween Series could’ve been way better. The story line was all over the place. This is Clearly something that shouldn’t have been touched. The Halloween Legacy has been destroyed 😂 The beginning of the movie pissed me off 🙄🙄 it had nothing to do with the movie as a whole --The Original Movie Series including H20/Resurrection are the BEST!!! - Excluding Halloween 3 Season of the Witch and every remake made.

In the later movies they explained that he is cursed by the Cult of Thorn. The more he kills the stronger he gets. I think they were slick taking cues from that movie.

Oh he coming back, the mask didn't get shredded, it's on Laurie's table.

The constant complaint is that they should've done this story in an earlier film. And Michael should've been in the film far more. I like the movie, but this definitely won't go down as one of the more memorable ones.

Great Review as Always but a quick note Lorie didn't move into Michael Myers house the Gay couple lived in the house in the last film and after that they demolished the house

I realize what there where trying to attempt with the Corey takes over the mantle so they can eek out some more Halloween money in the future and it was simply sad and badly executed. If you were going to go this route, just make the kid just as screwed up as Michael Myers was or worse. That simple. Either give us an absolute upgrade or leave the storyline out completely. Who wants a watered down version of Mike for the future? Let's get back to the violent kills and indestructibility of the killer. They almost made Mike too human. He's a legend and should be treated as such!!!

I'm one of the few that actually liked HEnds. I TOTALLY understand why most won't like it tho. My biggest gripe with the movie, was how (SPOILERSPOILER Corey confessed to Allyson about killing the homeless dude. Allyson never questioned it, and Corey never expounded on it. Allyson just rolled with it like Corey just finished Uber driving. Lol ENDSPOILER). My favorite Halloween is Halloween (2018). I wish they could've grand opening/grand close everything in that one movie. I still like the recent trilogy the most tho.

I didn’t watch Halloween Kills, but when I went to see Halloween Ends with my friends, I thought the movie sucked 😂. It was funny to me. Jamie Lee Curtis did her thing like usual but besides that I didn’t like this movie.

I think it shouldve been a reverse of her searching for him while he's out sendin people to the upper room. Like have her almost catch him but he BARELY escapes her until the end of the movie, then have that final showdown between Big Mike and the main characters.

I always pictured Michael Myers would get food with his mask off. Puts a baseball cap on and pays with money from his victims.

Michael Myers did a Spock Vulcan mind meld with the young kid and released all his anger and frustration that he had when he was arrested and was being mocked and picked on by the town. Also coinciding in which Jaime Lee Curtis's character detailing in the voice over of how anybody when they have a bad day, do they lash out or do they keep inside until that 1 time where they stop containing what they're feeling and they finally act upon it.

My favorites are Halloween, Halloween II and H20. This piece of hot garbage was disrespectful! The deaths meant absolutely nothing. I didn’t care about anyone! Michael was M.I.A! All of your points were valid! Stop calling out for the missing individual! It never ends well! The death of the kid was niceeeee😂 Otherwise, it was wack, for the most part. #disappointed

You can tell Tony ain't like this movie cuz he mixing all type of stuff up lol. Micheal was killing WITH the kid. The babysitter killed the kid b/c he was afraid, not angry. Basically the specter of Myers fear affected the town in tons of ways even years later. The apprentice storyline was really good the way it was done though... EXCEPT they beat you over the head with the line "evil is like an infection". It was said like 17 times.... WE GET IT!!!

5:25 Sadly the only flick to recognize him eating was Resurrection and he had some rats on a hot plate

I was looking forward to this review and although this is Tony's recount of the movie, he missed a few plot points that made most of the things he hated about the movie actually make sense
