Its not that theres too much vibrato, its that its throwing her off pitch expecially in the lower notes. She doesnt use enough twang or hasnt perfected the twang technique to use it properly wich leaves her higher notes sounding dull or forced. For me that vibrato is butchering many great songs. She should be able to control that vibrato better.

I don’t understand people in the comments are being rude but she still has more talent in her finger than yall have in your whole body, so what people make mistakes but they still learn from them. That’s what makes her so great in teaching. She learns from her mistakes ( and accomplishments ) and teaches people to be better I didn’t hear anything wrong. Not only are they hating on Miss Cheryl, but there is another vocal coach on youtube that tried out for xfactor a while back and she was bad. She then made it sound like the producers edited it to make her look a certain way. So know all of her fans are attacking anyone that said she hae a bad attitude back then. Her name ia Tara Simon.

Amanda Hernandez if you would know her, you wouldn’t have said that. Tara is not the person that they made her look at Xfactor. So don’t say anything about this, you don’t know her. By the way, she sang beautiful back then. If you say she was bad at Xfactor it just tells me you don’t have any idea of singing. And if she was bad at Xfactor, then why did she almost win the finals?

She has vibrato because she is classically trained. Not pop. Now she has able to adapt pop environment much better.

There is nothing minor with her tecnmhnical issues. You wouldn't even hear her without a mic. She has no proper chest voice developments and she has a tremolo instead of true vibrato.

I absolutely love listening to you sing. I use to love singing. I recently found out I have a growth twined through my vocal chords. Can't biopsy yet to find out if it's cancer because I may not survive going under right now. When I hear you sing I am able to forget about what's there. I don't think about possibly never being able to even talk again. I am literally on cloud nine. Omg! This blew my mind crazy! It was so beautiful and crazy! This brought me to uncontrollable tears and chills me so badly! Ughhhh !! So crazy so good! I mean, I honestly don’t understand why everybody comes to comment on her vibrato and stuff when you can only come and enjoy the beautiful and unique moment

I really enjoyed both of their voices. You have to listen to certain songs with a type of conviction and this was definitely one of them. The guy’s voice was very unique and I loved it. They did a really good job in my opinion at balancing out their vocals. Their rendition of this song hit straight to my heart. Kudos to them both!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Cheryl estava maravilhosa.

This guy has the same type of voice like the singers who sang the songs for the old Disney and Dreamworks movies like The Road to El Dorado, The Lion King, Tarzan, Shrek etc. He has the same special and exotic voice. It actually makes me happy to hear him singing. Reminds me of the good old times as a child.
