Yes! I loved when they said it became about their friendship even though originally written about a romantic partner.

Another song in this kind of realm from Halestorm that is often slept on..."Private Parts" which she does as a duet with James Michael from Sixx A.M.

I love this song... And then the duet between Amy and Lzzy is even better. I love both their voices so much... And then blend so well together. Crazy chills the whole song.

Love this song and the duet version too! I understand the chills u get from the song cuz I do as well… they performed this duet when I saw them on tour together in 2012. They will perform it again on this current tour it looks like along with another duet too lol… not to spoil it but u should check out their set lists so u can react to the songs they are doing that u haven’t heard yet! Have to admit the studio version allowed them to do things not possible live. It's one of my most favorite songs of all. Amy dancing all around Lzzy's beautiful vocal!

I’ve said this many times but this song is just honey in my veins. I actually used to suffer with anxiety and panic attacks about 7-8 years ago and this was one of the few songs in my playlist that could legitimately calm me down. Halestorm’s entire discography is very therapeutic depending on which of the two extremes a person might gravitate towards, but this song in particular really hits me in the feel goods

I absolutely love this version with Amy Lee. They compliment each other perfectly. I don't know your musical preference, but.... You should check out The Hu. They ft. Lazy in a song, and it's only one of the good ones. I love the song "Wolf Totem".

There's a live, stripped down version of AMEN by Halestorm. It is so good a look at how good Lzzy really is. No where to hide

I knew you would lose your shit over this collaboration ;) The only collab that I think is in the same class as this is the Amy Lee/Lindsey Stirling rendition of Wasted On You. Both just take my breath away with their beauty! I agree with you about Lzzy being as good as her good friend Amy, btw. I have recently gone down the Halestorm rabbit hole, and Lzzy just blows me away. Have you read her blog? She details just how disciplined she is in taking care of her voice, and how she prepares for her live performances. Really interesting read. Also, she does play piano on Halestorm's live performances of Break In, so I have to assume she is playing on the original recorded version.

@@Yeedeed That's why I'm avoiding all of the concert videos people are posting because I'm going to see them in Nashville on 12/03.

This is a completely different take on this song and the lyrics, but when she said, “Hold your lighter in the air and lead me back home,” I started listening to the rest of the lyrics as if she was speaking to each and every one of her individual fans in the audience. It just made sense to me, her feeling like her audience understand her the best, and other lyrics like “in the dark you show me,” and “When the lights come on, you see me as I am…”Just try listening to it again with that idea in mind and see what you think…

nice. i prefer the version with amy lee. nice harmonies. but regarding harmonies, i'll stick to my two favourite singers, susanne sundfor and anna von hausswolff. especially anna is a true master in it. would love if you'd compare two songs by her in a reaction video, because it's like watching different people singing. "stranger" in the live version and "they hoped for a name". vocally she outshines everything i knew before. really. yesterday i went to a very unique show in harpa reykjavík, where björk performed her last of four different shows together with the icelandic symphonic orchestra. it was absolute and pure magic. to sad that it won't be uploaded to YT.
