Gareth Hale deserves an Oscar for this performance hahhaa :D

This surely has to be the best Hale & Pace sketch of all time. I have always remembered it from my teenage years, I was so excited when I saw it posted. I love it when they throw his ass out at the end and he wants to start punching on...classic stuff! The Brits really are the funniest people in the world.

Without a doubt the funniest skit Hale and Pace made. At least for me. I was in tears of laughter. Remember it back when it first came out and still hilarious today!

It slayed me when he tries to play the castanets! The generous Spanish hospitality.

Along with the Man Who Cant Take Anything Seriously this also makes it as one of the best H&P Sketches

I am so glad to see Hale and Pace - why have they been missed out of the 'History of Comedy.' They were cutting edge comedy in the eighties before all the rest. Lets see some repeats on the telly please - something to watch for a change.

This guy has funny bones. He always makes me smile. One of the best Hale and Pace sketches ever.

Look up, Sid of the Sunday league and the man the can't take anything seriously.

Whenever im feeling low and stuck in my own head and trapped i watch this and it literally cures me 😮. I laugh so much i can't breathe . God bless hale and pace. Deep belly laughter is genuine medicine for us x

If one has to pick just one Gareth Hale character from the ten years they made the show it must be Quentin Traveler, he's the perfect travel programme presenter. Especially as all of the programmes begin as those pretentious shows directed to "better than average" tourists but degrade to regular drunken ramblings almost immediately. There should've been a special show for the character...
