Hey girl, just found this video bc I'm living in day 3 of regret got a horrible short haircut 💇‍♀️ really wished I didn't do layers bc I just have staircases and missing hair and front shorter then back it's bad lol I'm glad this was 5years ago for u ur hair might be long now lol, ima try to curl it and she how it looks but yah I usually use a wand and that will just burn my fingers at this point with the shortness so will be trying out the straigtner method as well. ❤

Me: cut my hair just above the shoulders Hairdresser: *cuts hair above the chin* Me: 😶😲 omg it looks great thank you, here you go *gives a ton of money* Also me: *arrives home and cries in a pillow all night because looks like Dora the explorer* Edit: *one year after* i promise it gets better!!! Now i have long red dyed hair and i am kinda feeling myself! That "dora the explorer" hair stage helped me get a massive glow up!! Just be patient cause you will shine through afterwards!!!!!

HaaaHa!! That was so me yesterday! I told her I wanted shoulder length layered hair. Since I was donating my hair, my haircut was free. After all was said and done, she asked how do u like it, I was like omg my head feels so much lighter and looks great! She cut my hair just below my chin. She told me I’d still be able to put it in a high pony. In my head I was like yaaay. Gave her a really nice tip and bought some hair styling products and went on my way. I get home to take a shower and tried to test the high pony tail look. NOPE! Didn’t work. I look really close at my hair and I was like hey this IS NOT shoulder length hair!! Wtf!!! I wanted to cry!! 🙃

@@CarolRLuna aweee hahah I’m 13 and cut my hair to match my 4 year old sisters cause she didn’t like her hair (which we had to cut because she got ahold of scissors...) but my hairs so thick whereas hers is super thin so mine doesn’t look that great.. I also cut it myself and didn’t mean to cut as much as it did 😭 o was trying to even it and just kept cutting until it was to my chin.

I got my hair cut just above my chin and I have social anxiety so when everybody stared at me I HATED IT!!!!

I had been growing my hair out for 2 years and it was like 6 inches past my shoulders and looked the best it ever has. After 2 mental breakdowns, It was now shoulder length (but it's curly so it looked shorter). I cut it myself, which I usually do and I was fine with it, mad I had done that, but it looked cute and I could work with that. Then my dad saw it and he was furious and he hated it. So we were on vacation and every moment he made comments and said I needed it layered or something and basically peer-pressured me into agreeing to get it layered but I hate salons and he is good at cutting hair (usually) so I said just do it yourself. And he did. It looks so bad everytime I see it I can't help but cry.

I asked my hairstylist today for a cut a good length below my chin (and showed her a picture), then she started from the back so I couldn’t see and when she turned me around in the chair my hair was ABOVE my chin. I started tearing up in the chair but didn’t say anything because social anxiety and now I’ve been crying for 8 hours straight and am browsing websites for extensions and wigs. Fml!!!

Recently got a very bad trim, ultimately had to go to another stylish and chop my hair to make it even so it can grow out normal. In the beginning I was shocked, then after a bit I tried to embody my inner Dua Lipa, but the past two months the reality has settled in and I am tired of pretending how much I love my unintentional haircut. I cry pretty much everyday, like sobbing. I feel as if I was stripped of my confidence and I have never felt this insecure in my life ever. It has come to the point where I don’t feel sexy enough to be sexual with my partner because I just don’t feel confident in how I look at all now. It’s starting to grow but it’s painfully slow. :/

honestly looking at her haircut, if this qualifies as a bad haircut, I don't know what mine is. It's a disaster. We go to a salon to get our hair cut by "professionals" and my hairstylist left me depressed. I have always had long hair, my entire life. I wanted to cut short a little bit, because I wanted to donate it to cancer patients, and I can't believe what the fuck that man made of my hair. I am so ashamed to even step outside or meet anyone. I've been crying for the past 6 hours, my heard hurts so bad from crying too much but my tears won't stop. I want to break the mirror everytime I see it. I try styling my hair in a different way, and thats when it hits me, this is something I can't go back from. I cannot restore my old hair, my happiness. My appearance was something I liked to invest in. I bought makeup and dresses to look good, but none of that will suit me anymore. My only regret is not having ended the life of that fucking hairstylist

i just got a haircut now and he did it literally above my hairline at the back and I TOLD HIM NOT TO so now the back looks like it’s been shaved and i have a really really short bob right below my ears and I HATE IT SO MUCH

Thank you for making me smile! Its been rough! I usually cut my own hair and have slowly been working my way shorter and shorter for the past couple of months. I'm not sure what happened with this last go round.. lol It's the length everyone is panicking over it seems. Bobs! They are more complicated than they should be imo and lots of factors to consider and unfortunately we don't see them until the hair has already been cut. But hey, take it as a great lesson in getting to know yourself, your hairline, shape, etc and know its only temporary, probably no one will care as much as you do in the meantime, and there are always quick fixes if need be like the ones you mentioned in this video, and hair extensions to get you through!✌️
