This protective hairstyle is a classic updo that can be worn for daytime or for evening, depending on how it's accessorized. This is my first video. I hope to get better at it. :)
I've slowed down every motion that I do in this video to make it easier to follow, but the style actually takes about 30 to 45 seconds to do, ordinarily.

I have tried this hairstyle so many times and it never worked until I tried doing it this way!! My hair is really thick and long so this is a tough hairstyle for me. Thanks so much for posting this video! It helped me a lot!
Thank you!! I'm needing to do my hair in a french twist tomorrow for my Breakfast at Tiffany's costume, but I didn't want to spend an hour learning from a 15 minute tutorial. You made this classy hairstyle look so easy!

The only french twist hair tutorial that I need. Clear and simple, thank you!
Beautiful! Thank you so much! A simple, straight forward video without too detailed explanations that is so impossible to follow. Thank you again!!
Thanks for this tutorial. It is beautiful and so simple to do. Most other tutorial either has a hairstylist doing it for another person or the camera is recording them front facing so we cant see how the hair is twisted up or they uses tonnes of hair products like clips, hair crunch, bobby pins, hair gel, hair spray, etc. You just taught us using only 1 hair clip and its done so easily but yet beautiful. You are a genius!
This is the only original French Twist that was worn by Grace Kelly. Thank you for sharing this with us. Even after over 10 years!

My hair is just below shoulder length but with lots of layers so I find it hard to do a French twist but this tutorial is the simplest and easiest I have seen. Works perfect every time.
Wow. I’ve seen some really complicated directions for a french twist, using LOTS of pins that would never even stay in my hair. It’s very fine and very thick. This is great! I think even I could learn to do this.
Thank you! This has been the most helpful french twist tutorial I've found. Most of the tutorials make it look too hard. I love how you got right to the point.
This looks so fancy. Do to try it immediately and you explain and show it so good. Thanks alot
