Using the comb to assist in the twist was helpful to me, thank you. I have fine, thin hair and twisting alone wasn't doing it. I used my fingers in the same way as you used the comb and finally got my hair to lay right so my hair comb pin held it tightly enough.

Thank you for this video. So far, this has been the best "how to" french twist video! I'm still looking for one that teaches you how to tuck the ends in without making the twist seem HUGE! Also, I'm looking for tips on how to fix the top of my hair after the twist is done. My hair always seems to "pop up" off the top of my head, and not in a good, modern "Gwen Stefani" way...

The comb it not really needed...too much work for something so simple...

her technique works on fine hair, which the model has. but this is only a basic twist, not really a french twist.

What the heck is this nonsense?! I've been doing my own French twist since my hair got long enough to gather in the back. And mine are actual French twists, secured with a comb, fork, or hair stick...traditional.
