Followed this and managed the best French twist I’ve ever done on my wife, thanks. It was a bit messy at the base though - any tips?

Andy Smart use a comb to roll it more - just keep rolling and tucking the bits in - so glad this helped 👏🏼🤗

I personally pinch and pull the top as I like some level of height of the hair when you look at me.

Ballet and contemporary thank you Xx to be honest I don’t really do anything to my hair- just shampoo and conditioner ✨😘

I'm lucky my hair is medium length, so i just do the classical "twist it in place and bobby pin it down" 😂 i have curly hair too, so it's not slippery

This couldn’t work for me my hair is too thick but it was the right length 🥲

I had a dear friend who worked for the government in Washington, DC and she wanted an easy and neat hairstyle for work. Her hairdresser showed her how to do a French roll (it was pinned all the way down her head in back). The hairdresser said they called it the “prostitute twist”. 😄

There’s the French twist and multiple people call it different things, there are different ways to do it :)
