Hello Sha3jc31, I agree we need to embrace our natural hair. thank you so much for watching !
A hooded dryer would be a great investment. You can use it a multitude of ways but it's a game changer for deep conditioning and drying your hair fast after styling.

Good morning Olivia! I have one. I mentioned it when I talk about my shrinkage and the fast drying head turban. And yes it really does speed up the process!
Your hair is so thick and beautiful. That’s a lot of work to maintain. But an inspiration to young women with your hair type who want to grown very long, gorgeous hair.

Good afternoon Vanessa, you’re welcome! I hope you were able to take something away from it.
Your hair is beautiful! I recently used “Shea Moisture intensive hydration leave in conditioner” (in a jar) and love it!!! I have low porosity hair. I put it on after shampooing and use a heat cap for my deep conditioning. This saves me time and extra steps compared to using a deep conditioning mask. This product is very slippery which is great for me.
Thank you for sharing all you know regarding hair with us.

Oh I made a turban towel like that. But I put the microfiber as the middle layer because it grips my hair. Diaper cloth is my bottom layer because it’s pretty smooth. Then regular cloth with a design is the outermost top layer. That is such a beautiful color ❤

Hey Lashanna. For me I wouldn’t say it’s my wash my day routine. When someone asks me how I retain my length I always tell them mini twists, keeping my ends tucked away, and moisturized.
Yaaayyyy!! Was so happy to see this pop up in my feed. I love your channel and have been waiting for this one:) While I’ve been a long-haired natural most of my life and feel like I’ve learned everything there is to know about our hair from studying and researching for many years, I always love to come across others who give me fresh perspectives with what wisdom and knowledge they’ve gained. You have taught me a completely different way to twist my hair. I never tried mini twists but yours are so stunning and beautiful I was inspired to use your entire routine and it works so well for my hair! Plus, I love how you maintain such full ends. You have me trimming and dusting my long straggly ends over here without a care in the world lol. Thank you for making these videos! Of course, I love your hair care ones and I’m learning so much from your fashion and style videos, which I desperately need! I think I’ve gobbled up nearly all of them so far. Keep posting Maya!! And if you could share some of your lush density with me, that would be great;)

Good morning Nat81! Thank you so much for your kind words, it means more than you know. I hope to keep posting content to inspire and educate. Trust me I use to be that natural with “long hair “ and like inches needed to be cut lol. I’m not scissor happy but I will dust a mini twist in a second, put some water on it followed by my curl enhancing smoothie and go about my day. Both fashion and hair are my passion, I am so glad I have inspired you on the fashion front as well. Thank you so much for watching and your support !

For unraveling your twists, you can do it faster if you pull on one strand of the twist to stretch it out. The other strand will star to unravel.
I have to use smaller sections, too. I'm glad there's someone like me, lol

Hi Mya! Good video. Love your hair...so gorgeous! I couldn't tell you hadn't washed in a while. What leave in did you use? I am curious as to how the towel worked. Was it really quick drying. That's an issue I have also with hair taking so long to dry. Thanks for sharing!

Hey MJ! Sadly the towel did not dry like I wanted, now , my hair was dryer but it did not dry my hair any faster than if I were just sitting in the house waiting for it to dry. I wanted to use it as an alternative to the hooded dryer, you know how I feel about heat. Leave in, I am currently looking for a new one. When I find it I will put it in the video I will do about the products I have changed an why

Thanks so much for the detailed wash routine. I just wanted to ask why exactly do you keep your hair in sections wash, condition and detangle your hair by each section and not just wash it with your hair loose? Thanks so much I hope to have your hair length one day!
@KlassicallyKept
Жыл бұрын
Hello Anima. I wash my hair in sections because it is easier and allows me to detangle my hair easily.
Do the shampoo and conditioner have slip? Do you deep condition every other wash day? Thank you for sharing your routine! You and your hair are lovely!
@KlassicallyKept

Hello! And thank you ! The shampoo does not really have any slip but I love it because it does not dry my hair out and I am able to finger detangle. The conditioner does have some slip.

I was washing my hair every week but now I am wearing my twists for 2 weeks now. The only issue is that on the second week, my hair starts to get frizzy and a little tangled. Even when I’m gentle with my hair, in some twists my hair snaps. It doesn’t happen during the one week mark. Keeping my hair in twists for 2 weeks really helps though because of low manipulation
I know am being silly:) but it seems to be able to grow long, luscious hair and have a gorgeous face you must own a shower😂😂. Thank you Mya for great content, always

Good morning Ayanda. Lol good one. Thank you so much for watching.

You have beautiful hair but I wonder if you couldn't save yourself so time by not shampooing and conditioning in so many sections, or at least not retwisting so tightly (?). Like you could wash and condition half of your head at a time. To get the conditioner through all of the hair just apply inside of each half of te had on different places then quickly pass the half under the water and squish the conditioner through the section. After you have the conditioner in your hair you can break it back down into.twists to detangle. Just trying save you some time.

My hot water won’t even last through me shampooing just 4 sections of my hair. I know smaller sections would be better for me, but I don’t know. I may try to get away with 6 or 8 sections
@KlassicallyKept
Жыл бұрын
Hello EM. I would try it if you think it will help your detangling process. I have tried 4 sections and that that just doesn’t work for me. Now I will say when I used to use Wen that was the only time I was literally able to take my hands and run them through my hair ….. and then I found out I was allergic 😒. Lol

I have the same issue with hot water. I would be standing in my shower for hours trying to wash, condition, and detangle each section. I have to detangle outside of the shower with my leave-in or apply a washout conditioner, detangle, then get back in the shower to rinse- which is not ideal because my hair will tangle again causing extra manipulation😢
Do you run out of hot water washing with this routine? That has been my issue.

How many sections do you have?! I thought that my 14 sections were a lot.
@KlassicallyKept
Жыл бұрын
Hello Irenic. In the back I have not idea lol. Since this video I have been able to the get the back section down to 6 and the front 2 sections parted in 2.
Hmmm. I didn't watch to the end to see you are looking for tips to.speed your wash day up. I think your stumbling block is the twists. Currently it looks like you are twisting and unwitting your hair up to 5 times on a wash day. That's where most of your time is going. Also you aren't getting the excess water out of your hair before you put the final twists in that you want to dry. And the other thing that took alot time was that you detangled each twist 3 times. I was once where you are. I took the whole washing in sections too far because the people whose advice I took were also taking it too far.
Hello. What licenses do we need to become a commercial adjuster?
@KlassicallyKept
Жыл бұрын
Hello curls and cupcakes. You just need your regular state adjuster’s license. For instance if you live in Alabama , you will need your AL adjuster’s license and then any other states you would like to handle claims in. For commercial, to get your foot in the door you will need residential experience, a big storm to happen, and to know someone in that field who can recommend you.
