I wish my mother would have heard that tip about giving your hair a break....it's about 13 years too late for her. She goes from sew in to sew in without stop. I feel sorry for her hair line.

Hello Mal! It’s never too late to start! A lot of women do that. They never go without weave, which is fine if that is what you prefer, but moderation is key !

Thank you for the tips. It pretty much reminded me of what I need to do to being consistent to seeing more progress. I'm going to look into that sunday 2 sunday product. It might help with those days when I feel like a refresh in the middle of the week. So...are you going to share info on the henna tattoo? :)

Hi Mya! ITA...Have to maintain hair while in protective styles. It makes me cringe to see the bumps on the scalp of those with extremely tight braids. I can't imagine having to take Tylenol due to having a headache caused by tight hairstyles. Good tips. Do you ever have issues with detangling after 2 wks between washing? Please do a video on detangling. Much Peace, Love, and Blessings!!!

Hey MJ! Yes the braids look like they hurt so bad!!! Great video idea! I don’t have much trouble detangling and actually I have changed my wash day routine slightly. I detangle my hair before getting in the shower and shampooing! Ok so now I have two videos to do lol, detangle video and wash day routine.

Hey Chimera, lol I do twist but they are just really large. 4 in the front , 6 in the back and then I will just tie them up. Or I will do a loose top knot and throw a headwrap on. Something that does require a lot of tension on the head

Hi Mya; Very informative video will definitely incorporate some of your tips, especially the length of time for the protective style, rinsing the added hair, etc. Whale sperm was a new one(where would you even find it?). How about one youtuber who literally cleaned out her refrigerator and touted a hair mask, never having tested it or shown results. Or another one who uploads fast hair growth serums weekly, although her hair stays the same. It's just too bizarre. Couldn't help but notice your mehndi or henna. Nice weekend to you.

Hey Jennifer! Yes thank you the henna tattoo, I could never get a real one so whenever we go to beach I always get one, something a little different every now and again. Yes whale sperm, like where did you get that from. Also at point it was trend to apply Monistat to your scalp to “cleanse” it. Lol hair growth serum with no hair growth. Have a great a productive week !
