I don't mine trimming my hair. I did a little experiment and the side I trimmed is longer than the side I did not trim. Lol

Watching cut the very first section of hair I thought, oh no another video showing someone cut a few strays of damaged hair but as you continued I said yes! You showed me a detailed way to trim my split ends. I like length but personally I’m a stickler for raggedy ends. It’s like mowing a lawn and not edging it 🤷🏾‍♀️I want bra strap length but with my ends in shape too. Goal for 2021!

I tried to make it as detailed as possible without it being so long, originally it was an hour lol. I was thinking okay Mya that’s a bit much. Yes I am a stickler for ends too, like I said I use to be “that girl “ but I want healthy ends, also when you’re ends are intact de tangling is so much easier. I love your hair goals for 2021 and your lawn comparison lol . Thank you so much for watching.

Can you film when you decide to refresh your ends again because I just trimmed and I was really amazed at the amount of split ends that were just continuously splitting causing me to cut more than I was comfortable with and I’m never afraid of losing dead hair but darn. I have officially switched to twist as of last year and I’m only re moisturizing in between shampoo day. I’m ready to see healthy growth and minimal split ends as I’m avoiding playing in my hair.

Yes! let me see how I can incorporate that, because the next time I straighten my hair will be in December, I may do a blow out and go from there.

Yep I had to cut the same amount a week ago and had a baby cow. But I know better. I was not keeping up with my trim. 🤨😏

Thank you SO much for this video - I really needed this! I have a question about frequency...you said you trim 2-3 times a year but only atraighten once. How do you trim the other times? Thanks in advance!

Hello Pam! Yes ma am ! That is correct so I trim my hair straight once a year and the other times I dust. For me dusting consists of looking at my mini twists and seeing if any of them look a little wonky, if they do I cut the ends and then reseal with a little aloe vera juice and my Camille Rose almond jai.

Lol I have a love hate relationship with my straight hair, I love it to do different hair styles and then I see someone with curly hair and say awww I wanna do that lol. I would say 2 - 3 weeks. Once it gets frizzy though I just throw it up in a style , I do not restraighten it, and most of the time my edges revert back and the rest stays straight lol

Your hair is beautiful. I am guessing that you have always had long hair or hair that grows pretty easy.

Thank you! Yes my hair has always grown fast, it's just that I recently learned how to retain my length. I swear by mini twists as far as length retention goes. I keep my twists in for 2 weeks and just style like regular hair. Thank you so much for watching!

Thank you! I have in the front lol, the front of my hair grows faster than the back. I am excited for my annual straightening which is normally my birthday month December, but one of my girlfriends is getting married in November and she has requested straight hair, so I’ll do it in November. Then I’ll see what I need to cut to even up the front and back. Or I may just leave it lol !
