Except that many homeless men have got full heads of hair. Hairloss is not caused by diet or hygiene. It's genetics / skull expansion that causes it.

This guys results are great. I had a full head of hair until I was about 37 then suffered loss of my wife. Severe stress, un healthy diet and alcohol abuse turned me from a NW 2 to a NW 4 now at 42 years. My hair loss has really been bothering me. Good question. He's going to run out of enough grafts in the future, they're non-renewable in the donor area.

This is amazing, unfortunately, not everyone can expect these results, it's like there is a gamble you have to take and then no turning back if you don't like the results

I'm not even balding but I do kinda dread the idea that I might one day, so I think it's cool that this surgery is possible. If ever I do go bald I'll try to just embrace it but if I feel I want my hair back I'll definitely consider this surgery. Not a fan of having to take meds for rest of my life so probably would not touch any of those. Though some people swear by minox, and say it just becomes part of their routine like brushing their teeth. I do wonder what kind of side effects stuff like that might have long term though.

Red Squirrel I have been taking minox for 3 years now, haven’t had much side effects so far. I use the foam. I suppose it slowed down my receding hairline significantly

No long-term side effects, in fact, if you suffer from alopecia, you are genetically predisposed to prostate cancer, so you will eventually need to take finasteride at that point. So to speak, taking finasteride throughout your life will decrease your chances of having prostate cancer in the future, the studies are in the light, and what better of all, preserving hair in the process. Fortunately, science has come a long way these days.

There is no infinite hair in the donor area, once a graft is taken out it's not gonna regrow. The ammount of hair transplants you can do depend on how good your donor area is and how many graft it took to make one, and how bald you are. Not everyone is a good subject for HT. Besides you'll still need to take drugs if your MBP hasn't stabilized. But as an example, this HT he has done is 3800 graft, it's considered a lot for a first session, he might go for a smaller one again in the future and that's it. I can already tell he's gonna be a bad subject in a few years, he has diffuse thining, middle scalp and crown are thinning they will only go worse, this is typically a bad responder to HT as you don't have enough grafts to cover all the scalp, and since they put it all on the hairline. It looks good now but this HT is gonna be a nightmare. Unless he's able to regrow hair and stop the thinning with drugs like Finasterine and Minoxidil.

@@Omariau Hi Mr White. Thanks for the reply which all makes sense. However, the gentleman in the video can now enjoy his hair and worry about future losses later on. At least he will always have a good hairline. Maybe once he has further losses he can have another transplant which won't make his hair as thick as the hairline but at least give him a reasonable look as he ages.

@@Omariau I don't understand. My neighbor Nemanja did exactly this about a year and a half ago in the Medical center in Budva. As I understand a doctor from Istanbul did an HT and Nemanja was just way way balder than this guy. Now almost 20 months after he had a HT his hair is just way too awesome. He treats it with some oil he got from one Monastery he won't tell me which one. But his hair is simply amazing. It all costed about 3000€ or 3700 dollars...

How many years will last

no he is not on any hairloss medications. He came back to do the top and crown area. If you have suitable donor areas and at least 6000-7000 Grafts scalp reserves, you dont need to take any hairloss medications.

Well my DHT levels are low...so doubt fin would help me. Medication error wrecked my hair. I am about a 2.5 nw. Not to be weird my hair was like Nick lachey. Now got recession and hair is thick but diffuse thin in middle. So my hair has not gotten worse but not better. So .... how long is recovery? Also I do a bald fade....so will you be able to see the fue punches?

Derek Roberts the common myth is that hair loss in guys is due to ‘high DHT level’. This is not true. Hair loss is caused by normal levels of DHT, the concern is, how sensitive to DHT is your hair. It’s more of s combination between genetics and hormones, not hormone levels.

...That’s why you won’t lose transplanted hair to DHT, because it’s not genetically susceptible to it. Increase your DHT levels, it still won’t do anything to it.
