    Hi Rolandas, can you recommend any clinics/surgeons which only do a partial shave? All the top ones I spoke to insist on a full head shave for FUE and I only need 800-1000 grafts for my hairline! Also how long did it take for most of your hair to grow back and look normal following your last procedure?

    depends what you mean by "to look normal again". I've never looked normal as i had no hair lol. Feel free to check my videos after 1st & 2nd surgery for reference on this. It's conveniently named by months after each surgery. In regards to the surgeon, you'd need to speak to them to find out why they want to do it. After all, it all depends on each individual case.

    I thought for sure that I would need a transplant for my diffuse thinning, but my results from dutasteride and oral minoxidil have been better than I expected. I had a consultation with a hair transplant surgeon, and he said that my hair is already thick. He pretty much talked me out of getting a transplant. But he hadn't seen me prior to my dutasteride and oral minoxidil treatment. My concern is that the new drugs could eventually stop working, and I will lose hair like I did while I was on finasteride. Do you think that my medications will stop working, which would require me to get a transplant? Or should I expect to maintain the improved density I was able to get from dutasteride and oral minoxidil?

    I think if things don't go well with my medications, I will go back to the clinic for surgery instead of a consultation. I didn't expect a doctor to be generous enough to spend an hour and 15 minutes talking to me about hair loss and give his honest opinion. Doctors are usually very brief, especially if they know they're not going to make any money from the appointment. It just seems like he has a lot of passion for helping people with hair loss. He doesn't do PRP or exosomes because he thinks they don't work. He also doesn't sell LLLT devices or any other products. That's uncommon because most of the Web sites I have been to for hair transplant clinics either recommend LLLT, or the doctors try to sell laser caps in their office.

    Yo Mr Rolandas. I will definitely need a 2nd transplant for density, however i wish I knew more about the risks to previously transplanted grafts, if new ones are put in close by. Is there a significant risk of harming the hard work that has already been done by going for a second? Wish I could end up like yours. Thanks bro.

  • @MrRolandas

    @MrRolandas

    2 жыл бұрын

    Yes, there's a risk of that, however a good surgeon wouldn't generally make such mistake. If placed carefully in between the hairs, surrounding hairs won't be damaged.

  • @MrRolandas

    @MrRolandas

    2 жыл бұрын

    @Samir Thamer I disagree on the fact that diffuse thinners often have poor growth. It's directly related to WHO is doing the surgery. Good doctor knows how to carefully place grafts in between existing hair. Sometimes though if native hair is very thin (on it's way out), surgeons preffer to go right "through" it and place a strong graft in that area. Follicles competing for blood supply usually relates to transplanted hair, as they're the ones require a lot of blood to survive in a new location, not to mention the whole area needs to heal from a surgical trauma. If blood supply would be an issue for many hairs/cm2, nobody on planet Earth would have thick head of hair.

  • @MrRolandas

    @MrRolandas

    2 жыл бұрын

    Indeed. That's the problem. Again, look at Zarev and his megasessions. Also I had a lot of grafts implanted in between native hair in mid scalp during 2nd surgery and everything grew without damaging native hair.

    Hi Rolandas. Im about to start eating healthy and exercise. And i was checking Whey products. I dont know if they are needed for the gym or not. But i saw that they can make you lose hair due to increase on testosterone. Is this true? Im taking Oral Minoxidil and Oral Finasteride. I want to start being healthy and etc but i dont want to start something that will be another problem, instead of a solution. Or just eat healthy and exercise ( without whey ) its a better option?

  • @MrRolandas

    @MrRolandas

    2 жыл бұрын

    I'm not buying into fear mongering on whey proteins. There's literally no proper evidence to suggest that. Whey protein is made out of milk. It's the same as saying drinking milk will increase your DHT. You don't need whye protein, or any other supplements to workour and grow. Supplements help to fill in the gaps you've missed with your diet. If you're not taking enough protein with food, then shakes are easy way to add some more. Same goes to vitamins, omega's etc. I take a mix of whey, casein & egg protein 2 times a day, I'm also on creating 4 times a week. Haven't seen any correlation to my hair loss.

    @@ua1514 i'd scalp people for this, sorry to hear that, same happened to me at Hair of Istanbul, went with dr. Pek. a few months back for total excision of their wrongdoings, like 1500k grafts. It legit grew out like cables no amount of oil and hair spray to appease it. But fortunately I have a sick donor so in a few weeks dr. Pekiner will gentrify what was supposed to be already a settled matter. Those scammy cunts are not cheap either, I ll end up cashing out like only 1k more for some real work and 1k more grafts. They should not charge anyone more than 2.5k for those shitty results. They implanted stalks not hairs like a foot deep into my scalp, after the excision I felt so much relief.
