Hello Apoorv, Please avoid self-medication. You can use 0.25mm to 0.5mm Dermaroller at home, under Dermatologists guidance. You can use minoxidil and dermaroller together, but there should be minimum 20-30mins gap between the use.

Hi Dr, that was a really informative video. My concern is that I;ve been facing hair fall problem for last 2-3 years and my hair has become extremely thin. In the initial stage of hair fall I used chemical based shampoo on a daily basis to cure it which made the matter worse, also I used to pull my hair many times a day just to check if they are still falling out, and because of which I stressed a lot and also in 2022, I went through a terrible break up of my 4 years relationship and I'm still struggling mentally for that. Do you think that these reasons can cause hair fall, if yes then what kind of hair loss is it then how can I cure it. And yes, somehow, I've managed to control the hair fall but my hair became so thin, and I can see my scalp.

Hi Dr. Chavan, I'm watching your videos from last 10 days continuously and considering all the facts I have a question about my Hairfall. I want to ask you a comprehensive and important question.. My Daily Hair fall is somewhere around 8-10. So, is it completely normal? And it changes to 15-20 while exams are there bcz of stress so is it okay to have such no. of hairfall? As I told u prior about my daily hair fall rate i.e 8-10 and it is happening from 2013 due to that I'm facing hair thinning in top/front portion of the head (Not major) and very minor (almost negligible) in crown portion of the head. It has not increased a lot because in first quarter of 2014 I had done my hair treatment which was quite successful only till 2015, from 2016 hairfall has started again and hair thinning is quite noticeable now. Fortunately, the condition is still under control. I think the main reason of my hairfall is Dandruff (Fungus type wala Dandruff) So, should I consult my dermatologist again?? Aur aapki overall kya raay hai iss situation par? Aapki choti si help kaafi madadgar hogi mere liye. Have a nice evening ahead. 😊

Ha Dandruff ki wajah se white region 2-3 jagah scalp pe notice kiya tha doctor ne isiliye doctor ne mujhe ek shampoo diya Logidruf naam ka jisse Dandruff kaafi hadd takk chala gaya tha.. Incase agar tum "white ball" matlab "white hair" kehna chahte ho toh ha mere kaafi hairs white ho gaye they due to excess stress and tension.

Hi nikhil, during starting period of using minoxidil there is hair fall, but there is no need to worry you can continue using it. But if still you are suffering from hairloss then consult through near by dermatologist. Thanks for watching stay tuned.

DHT is one of the main causes of hair loss, but other factors are also associated with it such as Nutritional deficiencies like Vit. B12, Vit. D, Iron, Calcium. Also Hormonal imbalances like irregularity in thyroid hormone, Telogen effluvium, in case of extreme physical or mental stress for which you need to do some blood investigations, to determine if the hair loss is due to above causes. With the reports, you need to have a proper consultation with Dermatologist for effective treatment of your hair loss.
