"Zeph Sanders was 20 when his hair began to fall out. As it thinned from the density of AstroTurf to spare wisps, he hid his head under a beanie before logging on to play video games on the livestreaming platform Twitch.
“I started getting people in the comments like, ‘Bro, where’s your hair?’” Mr. Sanders, now 27, said on a recent video call from his home in Orange County, Calif. “I felt a little bit more insecure as the days went on.”"

Yeah. While I am not in America, my husband asked a pharmacist over here for something to help with hair growth. The pharmacist sighed. He said: "Do you think if ANYTHING actually worked apart from transplant surgery there would be ANY balding pharmacists?!" while pointing at his own balding head. Message received. Thank you honest pharmacist.

for a lot of men its more difficult and depending on the shape of the skull many dudes it scary to go bald and i can understand that. My dad is caucasian, i remember him being bald when he was 25 and i was 6 . Like he'd lean forward and ask me if he'd combed it to the right side and there are no bald spots. took him another 10 years to go accept baldness and ditch caps. As a biracial i kept track of ageing patterns on both sides of the families. Balding patterns also . I observed all the men as they aged so i can see which features i have inherited in my ethnic blend.

*on ACNE (as it applies to hair products sometimes)* ACNE medication has been shown to reduce acne, but you know how it mostly worked? It got people to wash their faces more so when they did proper studies the results were comparable to people ONLY washing their faces. Some hair products have directions that tell you to MASSAGE the product into the scalp which may be increasing blood flow. And of course, it's hard to even figure out what online articles are "studies" or just ads masquerading as such.

My hubby started going bald at about 22 yrs (3 short years after we started dating). I had no problem with him not having hair when I married him two years later. As a matter of fact, I was thrilled when he embraced it and started shaving his head at 40 years (21 yrs ago) because he stopped wearing f'ing hats. Our son embraced it around his late 20's/early 30's because he is also light in the hair department. Another thing great about them embracing baldness is that razors are way cheaper than stylists who are only cutting a small ring of hair short, which just about anyone can do.

FREE ADVICE, use Tea Tree Oil (this isn't expensive stuff or hard to get) on or as close to the scalp and roots as possible, I do it about once a month (more often would be better) before going to bed and leave it on all night. It won't make your hair grow back but I have found it slowed my hair from thinning and made what's there stronger. I'm a male (experiencing some hair loss and thinning) who keeps my hair really short using clippers so I find it easier than most might to get it on the scalp. I have no proof, it's just what has worked for me and may work for you.

Minoxidil for growing whatever hair follicles you have left. Finasteride for preventing further hair falling out. BEFORE YOU USE: it will make your hair fall out at first. It will come out in clumps. Do not freak out and don't stop using it! It's how the medications work. They force your hairs through a growth cycle and only then does it start to work. Dermarolling also seems to work well, especially in conjunction with minoxidil. Studies on its use on its own are limited. There is also rosemary oil, studies are even more limited. That being said it is cheap and you risk nothing if it doesn't work, so it is also worth trying. But the first 2 products are the best and have decades of evidence behind them. You can get them cheaply even in the USA

I have been trying the dermaroller for my face and hair and it's something that really works, for hair growth, betyer skin and better and fuller beard for guys.

my opinion. is that pornography addiction is the primary thing that causes hair loss in men in their 30s. in the teens it causes acne and stunts growth. in the 20s may do a combination of acne and hair loss cause the body and mind is still growing in the 20s but also overlaps with ageing, there isn't 1 point where it flips the growing and aging overlap during hte prime years around age 30. hair loss though isn't the end of the world. can wear hats and be just fine. some of the coolest people i know are bald. like keemstar, tim poole. etc. 30s and 40s but still cool, and wearing a hat does help sometimes.

@@TheRadFactor i'm a believer that porn plays a role in balding in men. not just porn but also sex, lust in general. i think it's hormonal too much hormones when that happens and causes hair to fall out. just an opinion, not fact. some argue it's genetics. it's like natures way of marking a sinner, but once again though, you can still be quite cool person with bald head, many people have achieved it. and hats can be cool. if you ever were to go bald.

@@henlohenlo689 With all due respect, the primary reason for hair loss in men in their 30s is the scalp hair follicles' sensitivity to the hormone DHT. I'm not saying that there is absolutely no way that people could lose hair due to pornography addiction, but the main cause is sensitivity to DHT. That is why drugs such as finasteride (a known DHT blocker) work to stop and sometimes even reverse hair loss. Besides, most men do not have a porn addiction (I've heard it is only around 11%), yet many men experience hair loss.
