Hainault: Man with sword arrested in North East London after several stabbed
A man with a sword has been arrested following reported stabbings and attacks on police officers in east London.
The Metropolitan Police said officers were called to reports of a vehicle being driven into a house in Hainault at around 7am on Tuesday.

He's not a 'suspect', he's a perpetrator. He was caught in the act. At least get the terminology correct. It's always 'alleged' and 'suspected' even when these attacks are caught on camera.

It is most certainly a terrorist incident. One can imagine the horror of citizens being stabbed and the rage and panic of those witnessing such an atrocity. It is truly appalling of law enforcement to minimise the seriousness of a crime, in this manner. One waits, with bated breath; Lessons learned? Not a terrorist incident? This is my area. Heard loads of sirens and a helicopter when I woke up. Went down to the station, the road was blocked at the station which is also shut. Probably about three police cars and ambulances when I was waiting for a bus. More came a bit later including a fire engine.
