Haha...looks like you guys had fun! Try a 4S 2200mAh to get really crazy ;) (less flight time and a bit more tail heavy, but the low weight makes it a lot of fun!) Also, underhand upright or overhand inverted is the easiest way to hand launch this one...try both, you'll be surprised :D

Have you been flying other planes? List a few of you have. Depending on your experience I do think the Habu is the way to go. It’s great that it comes with real flight flight sim. Very useful tool.

Bobby’s skills are coming along well. I think he’s ready to move along to a more advanced model. Ryan’s will get there with a little more practice . 🙂 Joking by the way 👍

Pilot Ryan; we had a much smaller plane and a similar nose cone kept breaking off. We tried Gorilla Glue, a glue gun, everything. Nothing would keep the styrofoam nose cone on. What did you use?

Gorilla glue is for wood. Always use superglue or hot glue on foam

Ryan, can you (or anyone!) tell me why there is nothing plugged into channel 1 of the Habu STS flight controller/ receiver? I’m trying to add lights, and an afterburner light plugs into the throttle, but there’s nothing there!

You may just need a y connector for the throttle channel so you can connect them into the same channel

Nothing is in 1 on mine either must be for programming. It shows ESC/telemetry being in channel 6. The afterburner probably needs to y in there

Can you try with 6S and see whether it works?

the minute that tail touches the ground while inverted it tips the nose into the ground making another take off impossible, you would need another vertical fin at the nose...lol

I had one 4 years ago and the wings warped terrible. One of the reasons why I quit electric foam planes. 40-50 % failure rate on hand launches is another one.
