TurboDudes in Canada still sells the kits & just the tuner too. Id like to know where this guy got his though. I have the minimax (the old version) & I messed around & ruined my ECM & the minimax so I need to replace both. I could go with different tuner but I'd have to buy custom tunes on top of that. The SCT is only 400 but probably another 500 for custom deleted tunes. The mini is the only tuner that comes with deleted tunes preinstalled so I'm surprised you can even still get them.

I just saw a thing on HS tunes- and why you shouldn’t use them. I’m new to deisels, I have a 6.4 Powerstroke that isn’t deleted yet(not until I own it) so I’m glad I happened across that video- tells me I need to do more homework. Guaranteed, I would have been that guy

I would make sure your program tune loads first. Then unplug a couple EGR sensors to make sure no issues. You remove all that & tune doesn't take you are stranded

You do make for a good instructor.

I put a 30 inch magna flow muffler that way it’s not loud and noisy. Sounds like I didn’t do anything and I left the double tips because that’s the big giveaway and I have absolutely no smoke.

I have a 30" cheap amazon resonator and mine sounds 99% stock with stock tips also. Zero hiss. Love it.

Where did you get it from and how long did it take

They’re sending me the V2 because I have the V 1 😊that would not turn off the code for the CCV. How is yours working with that? Well, the V2 doesn’t work so we went with the EZ link, which works very well.

@@xlevibxxx disconnect is cheaper and easy and so far has no issues. But if you plan on doing performance upgrades having too much boost might cause issues and in that case just remove the entire system off truck

Where did you get your kit and what was the final cost? Were there any gotchas while performing the installation? My '11 6.7 is starting to throw DPF codes and after getting 2 bad sensors I'm done with the crap

Google h&s mini maxx tuner. Do some research on what you want deleted but Atleast do what I did. Also I don’t remember how much I spent.

Mini max with mcc software does the job nicely. I tune all my friends rigs with the mcc software on the mini maxx v1. But I agree get ez lynk. Or efi live, hp tuners. Hp and efi have great customer service still, IV never been priveledged to use ez lynk I have an 08 Cummins, but by the looks of it. I’d say ez lynk is probably the best because of the data logger you can connect to your phone, pretty handy.

I believe cab and chassis’s have longer wheel bases different turbos and are de-tuned from the factory

@@MontanaMechanicKing "Cab and Chassis" means exactly that - A cab with no bed or tailgate. The chassis is the frame with drive train. It pronounced "chass - ee"

Yea but my truck isn’t a 2022 either it’s a 2014 and my main goal was to just get rid of the emissions garbage, the tube options are extra for me. If I wanted to turn it into a racetruck then it’s a different story

@@dmitriytsurkan8758 your main issue is when you start upgrading things, like going from your stock SST turbo to a 15+, or putting a new fuel pump in, you'll pretty much have to throw away that mini max and get an SCT or Ezlink so you can get tunes written, no trusted tuner writes for the mini max anymore. And by the way a 14 is a modern truck. You'll be fine with how it is now, but we will see, give it a year or more, you'll understand what I mean.

@@xj1911 you are probably right, I didn’t know much I needed to get rid of the emissions garbage because my truck was getting check engine codes. And I needed to do it asap and I went with this because my friend did and he knew what to do so I just went to it. But if it happens then I’ll have to change it it is what it is at this point

H&S hasn't been a company since 2013 when they were sued by the EPA and went bankrupt you cannot purchase any authentic H&S products new after the EPA won that lawsuit. What you purchased are Chinese replicas, scammers hacked Bullydog software and loaded up these cheap housings with an H&S facelift, which you can see in red & white screen when its loading onto the truck. H&S never made tunes for anything past 2013. My guess is you purchased this from DPF delete shop or tuner depot judging by the fact everything you unboxed came in the cheapest packaging known to man. Do yourself a favor and throw that garbage in the trash & get an EZ lynk or SCT and look into Proven Diesel or AMDP files.

@@dmitriytsurkan8758 my truck is a 19 f350 with 30k miles ,I got mine from tuners depot for $1400 . Didn’t use the block off plates but came with the same tuner & the full 4” exhaust. Got rid of my check engine light & reduced speed after 50 miles. Even if it’s not the best tuner it got the job done & with the performance tune it feels better than new.
