    Nice about time you join the DPF removal club. Also the early 6.7 strokers have week turbos with the ceramic bearings in them and have been known to go out on the high hp tunes.

    Man those VGT's have a funky sound to them when you open up the exhaust. Stock power on the 2011-2014 was 400hp/800tq, 2015 is 440hp/860tq.

    did this to my 12 f250 and it runs twice as good now. Sent oil samples into Blackstone before and after the delete and you could tell a definite difference between the two. That DPF crap kills the engine.

    i did the same thing to my 6.4 at 13,000 miles power and fuel economy both a night and day difference Have 65,000 on it now been awesome just don't drive it like a 16 YO lol I asked the service manager at ford what he thought about mods and the warranty he said the only reason your going to need the warranty is because of the emissions stuff he told me take it all off as soon as you get home(that was the day i bought it , good luck with your truck its a beauty

    Hi My buddy just had his 1 ton done here in Canada, he said it was total crap and unreliable before. they did def / egr delete but not a total muffler swap he doesn't have the variable chip from what he said, but figures he's got 100 hp more. he can pull his loaded 30ft gooseneck in 6th and not shift down passing like he did before. He said the only drawbacks are his clutch was getting bad now he defiantly needs a new one he's shredded what was left of the old one in a week. The guys that did it told him he can't run it in the states hauling now legally as he's going to jail if the truck inspectors catch him with it!.

    chris, my friend has a 2011 f250 just like yours, he hauls on a daily basis, and has blown 4 stock turbos. he is switching to a 2015 stock turbo. so, if your gonna be pulling a lot of trailers with loads bigger than a bobcat, your turbo may go out about 130k, miles. just a heads up from a fellow ford owner!

    A s long as it passes inspection, go for it. Up here in NY, I don't know if it would get by the emissions. Although I had a friend with a car that didn't pass the emissions one year. He took it home, cut out the catalytic converter, shoved a bar down inside it, welded the converter back on and it passed emissions after that. Go figure. Thanks for sharing.

    tyler jarboe They gave me a 2015 F350 with the 6.7L for a work truck, it's nicer than a beat up old 2nd gen Dodge, but they are still a lot more crude then the new Dodges, I have a 2015 6.7L 3500 Cummins for my personal truck. Nicer all around, better ride, tighter steering, feels quicker even though the PSD has 70hp/50tq more than the Cummins, it is a Laramie vs. XLT interior so there really is no comparison there.

    Ford's transmission control module TCM re calibrates on its own for the new torque and shift points. Each new load and RPM point has to be seen by the TCM for it to adjust though. There is a forced re learn procedure that hits all those points quicker if you want.

    My truck uses more fuel to “clean the exhaust filter” and I get pretty crappy fuel mileage (about 15-16 mpg) in my 2014 6.7. The manufacturing that goes into the DEF liquid, more fill-ups because of crappy fuel mileage, proven increased wear on engine components requiring manufacturer of new and disposal of old components, how is the entire lifecycle of this process better for the environment? I can’t think it is...

  • @Graveltrucking
    @Graveltrucking9 жыл бұрын

    Belching the black smoke might get you into trouble, the 6.7s have a louder whistle than a 6.0. Tires are not going to last long with the mods you've done to the truck lol. I haven't driven a new 6.7 yet a little scared too I may want one if I do. What I don't get is why environmentalist whackos are pushing this emissions shit when all the emissions shit reduces fuel economy.

    Graveltrucking They do it so that they feel like they have accomplished something.. Nothing more. Too bad they don't spend more time trying to get more clean energy stuff put through, which would have a much bigger impact on our overall emissions. Kind of like the people that drive electric cars, and think they are saving the world. Now don't get me wrong, I think they are a great idea. But you're still plugging it in to the power grid that mostly uses coal plants, so in the end you are accomplishing NOTHING. People just need to do a little more thinking sometimes.

    Once again proving the point that increasing fuel mileage burning less fuel will pollute less than having that nonsense under the truck

    419friedtoast All mono beam front axle trucks have that problem you want a real 4x4 its something you have to contend with but its curable.

    419friedtoast lol, a lot of people keep saying death wobble thats why they cant cure it.. we called this Ground resonance its pretty common in heli because of the damping system or bushings in automotive aren't maintain properly.. there really nothing to worry :)

    I've found over the years with Fords out of balance tires are the biggest cause of death wobble. I first experienced death wobble when I had a 79 Ford F-150 4x4 23 years ago.

    419friedtoast know what your talking about before you speak kid. It’s with ALL vehicles that run a strait front axle, Jeep, dodge.....and it doesn’t magically appear at 100k, I just bought a 2018 f250, had my first wobble at 5100 miles, did a track bar, caster, and steering damper, problem solved,,,,,next you’ll say....why buy a 70k truck just to know you have this problem, well, my simple answer is....I knew about problems I would or would not have, that’s a given for any vehicle you buy, and mostly cause I wanted the truck, next is a egr/dpf delete, screw the warranty. If you can’t afford to fix it don’t buy it, I say,

    Nice job incriminating yourself...that’s a federal offense...a lot of people do this but it’s still staggering how stupid people are to post it...this violates the clean air act
