Some day can you make video and show us your shop? I am a millwright here in California and have been building and designing machinery for everything from forklifts to spacecraft. I have made a part that is on the Voyager 1 spacecraft. I have been a welding instituter and a machinist and sheetmetal man. I have worked with tolerances from as close to 0.005 and as lose as sixteenth of a inch. So when you are filming in your shop I am always checking out the shop. Looks like you guys do some very good metal work. You should be proud of that. Thanks for the videos of your planes I really enjoy them and the way you and your brother talk to each other. I live in the forest in the area of Yosemite (16 miles away) so I can't fly a RC here so watching you guys is fun. Captain block is so much better with the camera let Captain block run the camera all the time. I love to watch you Brothers with the RC.

Thanks for showing us the skyraider. I am impressed with the flying stability with that gyro. My father flew the spad (Air Force name for the bird.) In Vietnam. He said you had to fly it with a solid hand. Wasn't a ballerina but more of a heavyweight boxer. She could dance with the best of them but you didn't want her attention on the dance floor!. The zoom of those white legs forced me to find my welding goggles this morning. One nice plane and flight. Will get mine up as soon as its together and I can get a battery. All the best Russ NC/USA

Beautiful plane...my late father-in-law USAF Col. Jerald Ransom was the first American pilot to fly 100 missions over N. Vietnam during the war in Vietnam...he flew a total of 325 missions in S.E. Asia...he was a navigator in a B-17 during WW2 flying 35 missions...he also flew in the Korean War '50-'53...I think that was in an A-1 Skyraider...

It is always a fun time watching your channel, and I you have found the same fun on our channel, because it's the passion of rc aviation and family. God bless and thanks from the USA.

That was the first plane my father worked on when he joined the navy! Another thing I noticed was was the plane says USS Oriskany Attack Squadron 165. That could of been my dads Squadron! Very nice!

The thing that you immediately notice when watching this video is how smooth and scale like the airplane appears in flight. Not taking anything away from Captain Robert's piloting, but this is due to the gyro's stabilization. Why anyone flies RC airplanes without a stabilizer is a mystery to me. The stabilizers don't fly the plane but they sure tame it down so that it looks more like a real airplane in flight and only adds to the enjoyment of the hobby. Nice job Robert!

Thank you for sharing this. I have this plane, and I am really impressed with the details. I like that it comes with the gyro, and it was really easy to setup out of the box. I haven't flown it yet, but your video has reduced my anxiety about flying this plane.

I love it my friend.

This model is one of the last single-engine propeller-driven warplanes based on what was learned from WW II. After the Skyraider., the best fighting planes were all jets. This model looks like a lot of fun to fly. Small planes like this usually don't have flaps, and that is the only thing that this plane could use, just to land more slowly. Even so, it is not too fast for a beginner. With the gyro, I think a beginner could learn on this plane. I like it! Thanks for sharing! Stay safe and healthy!

Not quite, the Skraider was so good that during the Viet Nam war it was seriously considered to put the aircraft back into production as there was no replacement that had the capabilities it did for the cost. Unfortunately, Douglas by that time had scrapped the tooling and dismantled the assembly line so it couldn't be done.

@@jonminer9891 Understood, but still not quite so. You are forgetting the Piper Enforcer, even though it was a turboprop rather than piston engine.

Great little plan, going to have a look the gyro... seems to work good. By the way, you really should organize a street roller for your runway... we do have one every year, no more holes or maules. But really the big one from a contruction company... not a small one... working perfectly !!! best regards from Austria!

Your CG was spot on flyed mine with your CG and it was perfect flys even better with gyro off love your videos AILERONS.

One of my favorite aircraft of all time, the Marines and Army ground troops LOVED it. I want to say that you both speak excellent perfectly understandable English,Skyraider is pronounced sky ray der in this case as in many ai is pronounced as a long A as in great or grape or stay. Keep up the great work you are rays of sunshine during this quarantine.

This is a small beauty and on top it seems to fly so easy. The gyro makes it so steady that it almost hurts. I love the Skyraider planes. While you had the perfect flight with this I did the perfect crash last night..... never knew a foamy can make so much noise when colliding with Mother Earth.

Nice mainden , slow and sexy Pilot Robert, I could here the R-3350 growling over here in North Yorkshire..

Very stable for it's size, and congrats on a good landing. I am not practicing landing on a small strip in an RC simulator, and it's pretty tricky to do.
