What a band! I saw gwar live only once but it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to, Dave even came out of a fire exit whilst we were queuing to get in, just joined the queue without saying anything, started talking to people in the queue just randomly, it took a minute for people to realise, I remember him saying how much it sucked because they didn't have their costumes with them, but of course when they came out, they were fully costumed up and put on an amazing show. We all went home covered head to toe in fake blood, puss, shit and jizz. Glorious 😁

Sheer brilliance
RIP 🪦 Dave… ODOROUS URUNGOUS !!! 🎤 🎸 🥁
This is fantastic. I did not know I needed this in my life.

Michael kills it as the newish singer
That was far better than I expected! Nice play!
I always find myself coming back here. ❤️
I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Oderous and talking to him during Dragoncon '91. Dave was a colossal talent, and an absolute sweetheart of a human being. And he had demons. If there's a hereafter, he's jamming with the likes of Lemmy Kilmister and Joey Ramone. Hell no doubt has one fuck of a house band :)
I just watched it again for about the quillionth time.... always makes my grin.... sheer brilliance.
😍😍😍 RIP Dave. Thank you
Made me appreciate wayward son for the first time, even the original.
never gets old
Thanks for uploading the full version!
What a HILARIOUS Rendition ! Those guitar riffs and drums were damned AWESOME and that VOICE though! The whole Ensemble was wild, fun and definitely artistic. Rest in Peace Oderus (Dave). Whenever an Artist dies, the World becomes an ever so darker a Place.
That is GWAR GOLD!!!
easily one of the best vids of this series. awesome
Love it when he sang that famous line: "Gwangjulpang A lungie station"SHOTS! WE'RE DOIN' SHOTS!. Harmonies were spot on.
Why is this so few views one of my favorite covers ever. Musicians having fun and killing it should be appreciated more.
I sing this to my little Westie mix BearBear as he naps on the couch, “Carry on my wayward, unemployed son. Get your ass off the couch and get a goddamned job!”

I loved Dave's jazz scatting. It reminds me of Starfire's alien gibberish on Teen Titans.
CLASS!! Best version of this song ever
Arguably the most underrated, beligerant, classic rock cover of all time
Why do I love this?

Because GWAR is a collection of excellent musicians and Dave Brockie was an amazing, imaginative, and brilliant lyricist and comedian.
I never knew that I needed this till just now.
If Oderus tells you to get the hell off the couch, and get a goddamn job, yo ass better be employed by sunrise!!
I didn't think I'd love this as much as I did.
You guys are AWESOME!!!
I wish I saw GWAR more than once. 🎸
Its amazing how much better this was then I thought it would be.
I honestly think that this is the first time I've heard GWAR while sober ... won't make that mistake again ... love these guys!
That was beautiful thank you
I’ve seen this 50 times and still laugh every time..
miss you so much dave
GWAR does GREAT COVERS!!! ❤❤❤
So glad I got to meet and hangout with Dave just me and him for half hour just talking about random stuff then he had to go do sound check
Super Thankful to have seen GWAR before it was too late, and it was on Devil's Night or Halloween in T.0, can't remember which! RIP Dave!
Ooh, can't wait for Prayer Song!

Dave was a comedy genius.
I love Dave so much. Wish I could have met the guy.
Now imagine if this played during the Supernatural finale.
Gwar is awesome , GWAR FOREVER ! ! rip Dave , , ,

This is perhaps the most supremely awesome thing ever.
Pure gold.
I miss these guys! RIP OU!!!! Was able to see them live years ago, came home all Tie Died! LMAO
I love that he says they never heard this song until the previous day then the band proceeds to play a totally outstanding version of it. Total troll.
I saw these guys when they first started at the Troubador ....
Oh Gwar. They are so funny. The guitar work is spot on.
That was a great cover, nice.
GWAR was the best stage performance ever...
