I have a kitty that's taken almost 2 years to let me pet her head. She comes to the door sometimes so I think she is warming up to people. I want her to not spend another winter outside even though its not that bad here in the south.

I have dozens.... Eventually my mom gifted me a nice place where I opened my XERXES FARM SANCTUARY for all needy 🐵🐔🐶🐷😃😃😃.... Seven years of adoptions and nonstop rescues.... Pawfect life!!

What a dear man with a beautiful heart

I am a senior foster failure too. I rescued a 14 year old chi from a high kill shelter with the intent of finding her a home. She superglue herself to my coach. That was 4 years ago. And that is where she will stay until her time comes. She is a healthy 18 now and I am grateful for every year I get with her. Frosted faced seniors are the perfect dog.

As a dog lover, I want to say Thank You for keeping her. I had a Yorkie Silky that lived to 19, he wasn't all there, he had Cognitive Canine Disease, which is like our Dementia, but he was so sweet. I now have a Chihuahua and I can't imagine my life without her, and don't want to. God Bless and Much Love 😊💕🐶🌈

Thay’s why I cannot be a foster. I have 7 dogs and 2 were from adoption and 1 was kind of like rescue case. The rescuer could not keep him so I decided to keep him

@@echo2064 : Yeah, he's full alright. That's why he has so much to give. Neither of us know much about him. But we all can see that he is an exuberant, compassionate spirit. Some people, including hermit types like me can find a high level of extroversion a little full on at times. I can say from experience though that what he does is no light undertaking. I appreciate and celebrate his enthusiasm and commitment

Dogs are forever! I don’t care if you’re moving or not. We just moved from CA to Michigan and spent $1250.00 renting a van big enough to move our 3 Saint Bernards. They are my life.

My heart is breaking. Such a kind and loving human being. This really sucks.

This broke my heart. The guy is being ripped apart for having to give up a dog he truly loves and the dog will be hurting over being rejected a second time. It's not fair. It's just not right.

Relax. They ended up keeping both dogs because nobody showed up at the shelter to adopt them. It's in the next video.

I love animals especially dogs I never been without one until eight months ago when I had to put my pug to sleep but I could never Foster

don't know who this guy is, but i love him. i wish i could do the kind of work he does. i love being around animals their energy just lifts me up.

It’s so bitter sweet watching the beginning of Cece and knowing now this beautiful girl is no longer with us. Being at the Asher house was the best part of her life. If I were a dog I’d want to be part of his pack too. 😊

This man....is an old, kind, gentle, compassionate soul. Anyone who is his friend or charge, is damn lucky.

Fostering is so hard emotionally! My wife and i fostered so many dogs and cats we cried when they got adopted. It is so rewarding but heartwrenching at the same time.

I wish I could of seen this earlier. I want her. Im looking for another big dog to have forever.

This is too sad. Those poor babies enjoyed love and then back to not be be in a lovely home, it really brought me in tears

My boxer turned 9 this year. We rescued her at 6 months old. As time goes on, I love her more & more. As she's getting grey & just a BIT less pep in her step, I appreciate EVERY snuggle, EVERY walk in the park, every single moment as I know one day I'll miss her terribly. Poor sweet old Casey, knowing one family that she loved & protected for 14 years than out of nowhere she's just abandoned like that! I'm so happy things worked out. Both Casey & Pearl have joined a loving, wonderful pack. Many adventures ahead & I can't wait to see where they go next. Please Don't Shop, ADOPT!

Oh K.C. Her face lit up like she had decided life was worth living again when she realized she was leaving the shelter. She's 14 and it will be so hard on her heart to be given away again. This ended up being very hard to watch.

Such a beautiful man, all the feels. I'm still crying. Thank you for the work you do! Both of my puppers were rescues and had foster parents. Without them they wouldn't be the fun loving bunch they are. Fosters help dogs learn to dog and it's beautiful work.

I don't know that foster carers should be so full-on loving. Dogs don't understand it's temporary.

My two daughters adore this guy and his partner. I watch these videos with them on the TV in the Lounge, and always say to them that this is what a Real Man is like. This guy and his partner are Angels sent from God for sure. Beautiful people inside and out 🙏🇬🇧

To him, these are not just dogs. These are his kids.

Foster parents are AWESOME and AMAZING, they give love and security when it is needed the most. We often forget in watching the joy of adoption, how much love the foster parents have given and the pain of giving up what they themselves have come to love. Thank you and God bless them all.

So happy to see that I am not alone in foster failures. I took in an 11 year old blind street dog in Costa Rica with the intent of finding his forever home in my non-profit street dog rescue, but I fell in love with this fella and had until his passing a few months ago. I like being this type of failure.

That stupid law needs to be ABOLISHED! How detrimental is it to limit these sweet souls to one small area, and not allowing them to travel and get more exposure?! I don’t know if that is local, state or federal legislation, but we need to work TOGETHER to get rid of STUPID LAWS that work against animals.
