Leon!!!! Great video - you're getting me closer and closer to buying that model of Blackstar. I track with an Axe FX and use ENGL's and Plexi's. But that amp does sound incredible.

That red Jackson looks really cool. I also like the dual hum bucker configuration on the guitar. I have a Jackson PC1 in red rum finish, looks quite similar, but I miss a hum bucker for the neck position. So I might modify my guitar a little bit. Awesome collection of guitars you have. Cheers

Great call on nixing the mirror amp plate - can’t see anything! I have your speed demon on one of my boards - it works great.

Looks pretty awesome your new san dimas. And also I’m a non floating trem guy. I mean, respect a lot floyd roses, kahlers and other versions, but I prefer fixed bridges, or stoptails or strat trems.

It would be cool to see a lunchbox version of your amp. 200 watts of tube power is a bit much for my tiny jam room. I have an HT-1R head into a 4x12 with Celestion EVHs and it's pretty chunky but that HT-5R is calling me. Got a few if the ID: series Blackstars too and love em. Orange tabbies are the best! Mine fits perfectly on top of my HT-1R.

Really thinking of Blackstar but would hate to order and not like. Wish music wasn’t an online purchase, no one stocks anything decent.

I've played through the Blackstar amps, when it's time to replace the old Crate that's where I'm going. Great amps. But, I agree that the guitar stores won't stock any decent amps. I haven't seen one in person for quite a while.

When I first seen your new signature pro series super strat from Jackson I instantly fell in love with it and had to have it. I went to the webstore I buy from and they had it in stock so I started looking at it with all intent to purchase it until I noticed one thing about it, it's made in China. No offense but that stopped me from buying it cause even though in this day and age pretty much everything is made in china even this computer I'm typing on but when buying gear I try my best to not buy things blatantly made in China, especially a guitar at the $1299 price point. I'm a huge Gus G. fan and everything thing you release is phenomenal so don't take this the wrong way. I'm sure I just cued all the haters but this is my opinion.

@@AndrewTannerMusic That is an option but I really don't want to spend $4000. Other Jacksons are made in Indonesia and Charvels are made in Mexico, Mexico is killing it right now when it comes to guitar manufacturering.

I agree with you, locking trems suck.....I cannot tune them. I was raised on a strat, I just don’t have the brain compacity for locking systems

Why don't you like floyds?I love them personally and yes they are a pain in the ass but its not that big of a deal considering what you get

Non locking trem guitars feel better to me, in terms of sustain and playability it’s a personal preference that’s all. I actually prefer no tremolo at all, all my other guitars have fixed bridges

@@firetv for me, they are a pain, I love them and hate them, love them because i want to be cool like steve vai lol! Hate them because i can never get them set just right and it's even more challenging when working with different tunings, I never noticed that fixed bridges have more sustain

Simple setups and great tone.Other guitarists use equip of thousands of dollars and they sound like shit.Or they could get a better tone with less $$.
