DJ Ashba is an amazing guitarist, he played that solo so melodically, I loved when he played in GNR 🤩😍🥰😘🌹💋❤️❤️‍🔥💯

He has great tone and plays blues at his finest

DJ is really brilliant. He's come a long way from working in the cornfields as a youngster. YOU MADE IT DJ & OUT OF ALL YOUR FANS THAT ADORE YOU IM THE ONE THAT LISTENS TO YOU AND IT GETS ME THROUGH ANYTHING LIFE THROWS AT ME. Thankyou. Your such a kind sweet soul. The responses on here are laughable. DJ is an amazing guitarist. Slash is an amazing guitarist. The switch to Les Pauls was a "tribute" to Slash. ANd do some homework...he's been wearing a hat like this BEFORE he was in GnR. See Sixx Am Cruefest videos. Thanks for playing.

@foxburn123 DJ uses Les Paul guitar because most of songs of gnr are recorded with a les paul. what do u want him to sing? a telecaster?

Certes il y a bien meilleur que lui, mais on ne devient pas une icône de ce niveau, admirer de ses pairs et des fans, sans avoir une technique et de la compétence au delà de la moyenne. Apres au niveau émotionnel tout est subjectif perso les solo et arrangements de "Street Child" "Estranged" "Anastacia" "Serial killer" me parlent plus, c'est pour les mêmes raisons que je te dirai que j'aime bien Knopfler ou d'autres

@centcinqtiretseize Je sais mais c'est pas comparable c'est comme si tu comparais David Gilmour avec Alexi Lahio, ce sont tout d excellent guitaristes mais tu peux pas comparer un guitariste de rock a un guitariste de métal, ce sont deux styles différents, comme Slash et Yngwie

@maxgk1 La technique se compare peu importe le style... et leur style n'est pas si loin l'un de l'autre. C'est pas comme si on parlait de comparer du classique avec du rock là! Slash est bien populaire pour l'icone, le personnage qu'il est devenu. Mais encore une fois, au niveau de la technique, de la compétence, il y a bien meilleur que lui dans le monde! Après tou, J'en ai rien à branler. Slash n'est plus dans GNR depuis longtemps, et j'aime mieux le nouveau GNR que ce qu'il fait depuis...

DJ ne resemble pas a Slash et je ne pense pas quil esaie de le resemble!! Slash est mon idol ca fait plus de 15 ans et je trouve ca plate quil ne joue plus avec GNR, mais son nouveau album solo est excelent jirais a dire quil quand meme mieu que le nouveau album de GNR, Mais je nabaiserai pas DJ Jamais, car si AXL est pour continuer comme le seul membre original et quand meme apeler son groupe GNR au moin il a trouver de bond musicien pour remplacer de tres tres bond musiciens. Slash et DJ Rock

@I4ig0 il ressemble pas du tout à Slash, il a juste volé son style: le chapeau, la clope sur la guitare... il essaie d'être comme lui mais il y n'arrivera jamais à le remplacer parce que Slash est une légende

@zombieanyone yup ballad is slow, but slash can hang at every sound, ashba is trying, but it's useless, he never 'll play even half of slash's skill. Ashba- ordinary guitarist, Slash? God of guitar.

I think this man wanna be slash. I think he could be more creative...and be himself, and don't imitate the others, your hat it's similar to slahs hat, your personality when are playing, ok i know there is influence, but influence and imitate are diferent things...that's my opinion...

Dont get me wrong ashba is a good guitarist but hes no slash .plain and simple. He needs to just be himself.

I think DJ Ashba looks and behaves very cool but just a normal skilled guitarist. Richard Fortus and Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal are better than him.
