@freepressright
2 жыл бұрын
@@AJ-fe8om the statement does not deny that guitarists improve altogether, it implies that many do not do it in a way that is profoundly different stylistically. You have many guitarists who become more mature players, and they master note selection and phrasing, but they don't venture too far outside their normal skillset. Slash decided to take lessons, and you see him deploy some licks here that you'd never have heard him play 10 or 20 years ago.

The tone of his guitar especially his gold top on the use your illusions tour is way better than it is nowadays I think. Back then the tone was rich, full of sustain and had almost a violin sound to it as can be heard in the godfather solo Tokyo '92. Heavenly.

@@AJ-fe8om the statement does not deny that guitarists improve altogether, it implies that many do not do it in a way that is profoundly different stylistically. Winston Wolfe That's pretty much all famous guitarists. Only one missing with some is a wide range appeal. Doesn't change the fact they are amazing.

He's my favourite player of all time - you know it's him from one note. Also, he seems to be a genuinely nice guy - love it when Conan O'Brien calls him out on having the biggest heart out there
Amazing, amazing!! 🤘🤘👏👏👏 I wish I can play like that!
3:11 to 3:24 that speed and accuracy is incredible!

katie ironmonger aww i remember watching gnr live in Tokyo and a couple other vhs from waaaay back in the day and absolutely loved when he brought out his gold top and usually everytime he featured it he would play the godfather tune while axles changing clothes then axle pops back out and on to civil war lol

He sucks? Bullshit if ever there was any spoken for u not to appreciate the talent flowing from this guys pores ur obviously a gnr hater or something....one of the best all time period when everybody else was trying to sound like eddie van halen....a guitar god himself ....this dude hot the scene and shook up the world with his deep bluesey bending style and has never looked back....he will forever recognized by people who play such as myself as a motherfucking guitar icon

this isn't his orgininal goldtop, the orgininal one he used in Tokyo 92 he lost that goldtop now hes using another one with different pickups. The old one was one of the best guitars ive ever heard I don't really like this one

The tone of his guitar especially his gold top on the use your illusions tour is way better than it is nowadays I think. Back then the tone was rich, full of sustain and had almost a violin sound to it as can be heard in the godfather solo Tokyo '92. Heavenly.
El mejor de todos!
Maravilhoso 😍
Por isso que é o melhor, o meu guitarrista preferido 👏👏🎸🎸
Slash you’re one badass guitar player love it🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸

I think you miss the joke he makes. You know where some people use the grammatically wrong. "'He be one good guitar player."

Fantastic!!!❤
Funny how everybody says who is the greatest guitar player. There are many great guitar players, however Slash has also the ability to write music. His solos will remain in the rock history forever
Crack leyenda!!
I love how he broke out into a little dance at the start of Johnny be goode. Then stopped. Brill performance!
Incredible!
