The confederacy seceded from the Union and started the deadliest war in US history EXPLICITLY so they could continue to own other human beings. Look up the Cornerstone speech or Mississippi's declaration of secession. Slavery was the EXPLICIT reason they seceded. If people from the South want to rally around something as a cultural touchstone, find something good to rally around, not a literal fascist slave state that only existed for 4 years

I have learned to love this band since quarantine and being put in a position where I didn't have I think it to a could hardly go anywhere because of the lock down a few months ago so I've learned to love this band , However, I'm just a college kid and I'll come right out and say that I did listen to coma more than once and compared to their other music for me it was mediocre. To be honest with you when I check out Chinese democracy and phase like this and even if I wanna go so far as Velvet Revolver I have not seen Mimi production of really really good music they can also be come big music literally with popularity What I'm trying to say is there a lot of guns from roses songs and especially from early On. But this is a place where people are gonna freak out against me but based on what I've been listening to and watching how axl rose has changed his singing is changed over time and I waited have to say that the glory days and the best songs and my mind were completely offer the original Guns & Roses or At least close to everyone cause a couple popped Out .. So I listen to coma more one time and there's something about the song that just doesn't catch me. I might be an odd ball because I hear other Guns & Roses fans Talking about the song coma Over and over. I don't see why this song is considered great if that even is as forest radio player took it sells because we can't always go by those things you know that. So you're something that was say that you guys are going 8 but I'm going to be honest from watching videos and the documentaries and from the days when Axel in the rest of the band were just on top of the world and producing music that was so original there is not been a band they would try to imitate that on a legitimate way unless is some kind of band Trying to do a parody. Services West gonna hurt you guys but I believe something happened with Axel all those years when he was not around and kind of out of the public not involved in music at all for 10 or 15 years. This sounds like a conspiracy theory so please please help me out if you can but a look at other bands that last a lot longer than Guns & Roses has and they're still long tour like The Rolling Stones for example but more so Aerosmith has a similar voice or strength and energy to Guns & Roses. A mention those bands still holding it together because they were used their voice that their pipes she be blown by now but they're not. This were no conspiracies gonna come in but I'm just gonna ask you guys so Whitney used in the cause she was smokin rot for about 10 years literally ruin her singing ability. This is not a shock in the black community I'm a black guy and is just not a shot in general because been written about. From overs you're she was smoking a pipe it mesthur vocals up so that she could not hit notes in a longer as she once could. Just throwing this out there but and would like to know if anyone is ever heard anything about what was Axel doing exactly for 10 to 15 yours? Why did his voice practically go away for the most part? You notice his concert tours that are the most recent videos we can see he is not sounding like the same human being. His pipes or blown compared to what they were and I think people would agree on us. His energy obviously has gone because hes gain a few pounds but you remember the daze and these old videos where hes running around like crazy. I just can't understand what happened to his pipes because other bands have been on tor consistently longer send Guns & Roses. This is the part you won't like but I am just wondering is it possible he was smoking something to a glass pipe for 10 years ? I only ask that because you guys obviously Know a lot more about the band . So there's something they cause his pipes to blow because honestly he can't hit notes in these classic songs well I've watched the videos of the tour. A lot of people may say well is age and out would probably tell them though this BS because are a lot of people out there still performing and make him money and pretty much for the most part Sounding the same as they did 25 or 30 years ago. What happened to axl rose's voice? Do you think U MB and a little heavy to player rule in it and his respiratory system? Take that and then add on that she had not been seen in for so many years that when he did come back as so in an interview where he said he hired his old voice coach again to try to gaze voice back now this was earlier because this is when he was trying to roll with ACD C. My pony is he already knew he had problems with his voice or why would he call as vocal coach back in from 20 years earlier so it could be combination not uses longs and gain in low weight but I don't faith that so something tells me that he was smokin something and it screwed his vocal cords up just like it did Whitney Houston. I still love this man and I still think Axel's school and one of the best lead members her front men of any band of ever heard about or seen and this is coming from my hip hop head but I've been doing my research since this Corona virus said and I've been paying very much attention to videos and the ones that are really getting popped up or Guns & Roses for the most part. The other thing is people tell me Nirvana was better than Guns & Roses and on though all about the feud guys. Nirvana and my mind got very lucky because there were so so many bands in Seattle based on nothing more than documentary book thus the best way I can get it. Nirvana got very lucky because there had to be a first when it came to grunge and making an owl Nirvana was 1st man's it succeeded but even at the same time there's no way someone's gonna tell me that those people in avana or something original because honestly they aren't 18 know about all the people in Seattle at that sang there are in this environment. Nothing was unique when it came to the dressing and things like that I would say that guns N roses is on a different level than know Compared to Nirvana. That's why opinions don't kill me but for real I just simply believe they were better all around their songs when never sounding the same for the most part and there's songs are so original that people like me they aren't even rock fans until recently could hear the sweet child of mine opening with that guitar riff and know exactly was Kim red Apple or even if football games welcome to the jungle chorus is played a lot and I'm talking college and NFL. My whole point is rest in peace to Kurt Cobain 1st off but a think what happened is because he did died tragically and he was only 27 that hes not unlike people such as James Dean or others who also died at a very young age when everyone thought they ridges going to get bigger and maybe they would maybe they would not have who knows? I don't know that much about Nirvana but I know one thing for sure the drummer Dave had more challenge in my mind than anybody else in the band you know because he could play drum guitar in any he could actually seen with the Foo Fighters. I give him the most talent in the band by 4 but when you compare Guns & Roses to Nirvana it's not a good comparison because there have been other bands as sound exactly like Nirvana they came out of Seattle but you don't hear anyone trying to imitate or sound like Guns & Roses do you question back

One of the greatest songs ever. Period. Dont get bent over his coat. He was from Indiana, which was a strong Union supporter. Coats for impact and effect. Im sure he no more considered anything but the word "rebel" and he liked it. Lol

Thank God 80s mens daisy duke shorts got cancelled lol...for all wondering the flag jacket at first had a purpose,as he changed to the regular flag jacket. Kinda goes with the name of the track,Axl aint racist...every jacket he changed into coincided with the song. Nice one and happy BDay Holla

This song goes to show that even though Axl has had some controversial lyrics like those in "one in a million" but songs like this show that Axl is a good man. I'm glad all that has stayed in the past and he has learned from it. He's even had the song removed from all future albums.. Still an amazing song either way.
