My face hurts from smiling for 24 minutes straight, I am so happy to be back in this series/universe as it was the reason I got into Gundam and gunpla building in the first place. Sei, Reiji, Sekai, Fumina, Gyanko, the Meijin, Riku, Sarah, Ayame, Momo, Yukki, Hiroto, just- It makes me happy to see my heroes all in one place. ❤ And now there's new friends! Being able to see Riku, Sarah, Hiroto, Sei, Reiji, Sekai, and Yuuki all in the intro together almost brought tears to my eyes. It's such a dream come true seeing the BuildVerse Series finally closing the circle of combining all of the series together in one universe throughout the years watching all the different protagonists grow. All that's left missing is Ryusei Fyudo and Takuma Nagitsuji to make appearances.

So far it's only certain that's canonical to Build Divers due to the fact that Riku and the others are identified as "the real Build Divers" and not, as the main character was led to believe, just people with avatars that idolized the "real players of the team". The Build Fighter characters are probably avatars (a clue is the fact that Sei and Reiji should be older than Sekai) or, considering this is a sequel to Divers, living AI born after the end of Rerise that adopted the same personality as the characters of the BF anime. So, in a way, they could be close to the real thing while leaving the two universes separated.

Devils advocate but also truth. As a maker in both Blacksmithing and 3D printing that quote is 2 statements that are VERY true. Making Mistakes and Starting Over are both things I've had to do A LOT in 8 years of blacksmithing and 4 years of 3D printing.

Now, this show is getting me hyped with all the nostalgia from the previous build series. I gotta say good job Bandai and Sunrise. You piqued my interest.

10 years. Wow. It's been 10 years since build fighters, seeing the old protags especially Sei and Reiji puts a massive tear to my eye. 🥲

This is a good first episode & I'm ready for more! The fact that they got the characters from GBF, GBFT, Build Divers, & Build Divers Re Rise making all of this cannon is epic! Rage on!

A whole lot of nostalgia suddenly appeared as I watched this episode, it makes me happy that I got to watch the entire build series from build fighters, build fighters try, build divers, and build divers re rise, not to mention the other build series'! So many memories of fun times building kits and watching the Build series came flooding back. Glad I let a friend pressure me into watching Build Fighters. My wallet is... not so happy.

So glad that this universe is back! And looks like it will be a nostalgia trip!

Kamiki sekai ahhhh the nostalgia and Hiroto not to mention both reiji and sei coming back. Specially my favorite gundam build burning.

Seeing Fumina still in a teenage avatar and the Build Divers in the same avatar designs made me afraid that the show wasn't going to acknowledge the characters getting older, with the opening making me worried they would even ignore the canonical time skip between BF and Try, but I was pleased to see adult Kawaguchi, even if it still makes the timeline between Try and Divers kinda murky.

It warms my heart to see all of the protagonists from all Gundam build series in Gundam Build Metaverse.

The opening is addictive. I just keep going back to the start just so I can listen to it. Can’t wait for the full song to come out.

Wow literally everyone is here, and the feels it brought...Can't believe it had been 10 years already.... This series basically brought me into gunpla modelling, and I love all the crazy remodeled gundams from past series. I hope there will be more anime in the future.

This has reignited the passion that I lost for gundam and I am geeking out so much rn after seeing all the characters I knew from the past build series 😁

This episode certainly does feel like a welcome back to everyone who has been following the build series. Seeing multiple characters from previous shows coming back was quite the treat.

Soo Glad I lived and watched through the entirety of Build Fighters / Fighters TRY / Battlelogue, Build Divers / Divers Re Rise / Battlelogue, and Breaker Battlelogue It gives me hope that Bandai and Sunrise would not mess up the model kits ( especially how Bandai tend to go the lazy route sometimes.. remember the Tristan Gundam? yeah, that was horrible )

One can only hope, with their usual shtick of references, they use AO’s mace attack used in Cross Rays Just that demonic charge and utterly brutal repeat smashing would be glorious in the “full sized” Gundam as opposed to CR’s SD animations

You know the nostalgia hits hard when Back on composes that opening theme. Can't wait to see more from this series

FINALLY They Figured out exactly *WHAT* we wanted to see, and it isn't some 5 minute show either but full episodes thank the Gunpla Gods. Now IF they'd just give us a Follow up to METAVERSE, and the IBO Calamity Wars As a Full anime series or multi part OVA, for Iron Blooded Orphans Pre-quel, and a follow up featuring Mika's son. I think that would make everyone's day all at once. Like honestly everyone.

This is exciting. Renown build series iconic characters will be back. The first build divers team is a goop start. With addition of meijin Kawaguchi makes more satisfying. And the ending scene gives more mystery. Can't wait next episodes.

What a start to the pre-Halloween festivities with the Gundam Build Spinoff in celebration of its 10th anniversary & the song by Back-on called Hikari to Kaze was an awesome treat to all Gundam Build fans.

A perfect combination between each season of GUNDAM 👍👍
