We have the literal right to stand up to these people who abuse their powers and become tyrannical and put a stop to it. We have just been so desensitized of our rights that people couldn’t even fathom the idea of standing up for your rights let alone take actions. I just hope we can all find coming ground once again and become one nation under god indivisible and stand for liberty and justice for all!

My prediction is that the way Virgina reacts to all of this, is going to set the precedent for how the rest of the country is going to react.

I walked into a Local store that sells hunting and fishing equipment, firearms and ammunition included. I purchased a box of .22lr, the clerk at the counter ask me the question, "Are you shooting these in a rifle or pistol?" He said by law he must ask anyone under 21 this question and if I would have told him I was shooting with a handgun, by law he couldn't have sold me the ammunition, even though in NC you can possess a handgun at 18!!

David Martin Portmann its a lot harder to get a gun off the internet then the media makes it out. Especially with the alphabet boys monitoring it 24/7. But I totally agree with you on principal. Cartels have been smuggling drugs into the country for years on end, you ban guns and they’ll start importing those too. Then you end up with only the government and gang bangers and evil-doers with weapons.

I go to Elite Shooting Sports in Prince William County as my primary indoor gun range. I went the other and was talking to a few of the guys that run classes. They are scared for this range, even though it caters to a ton of our Law Enforcement and military, it caters to a majority of the non law enforcement community in our county, and their fear is because its 50/50 civilian and non civilian - the range will be shut down. OR restricted to ONLY law enforcement - which is 50% of their revenue. Also, I just moved to a different area in my county and my 2nd Amendment decal on my car WAS TAKEN OFF BY A NEIGHBOR. We have Ring and I park in the driveway so we could see this person, PULL OFF MY DECAL AND THOW IT ON THE GROUND. It’s crazy that people are willing to vandalize private property in order to push their “no guns” propaganda. See y’all on the 20th. (:

You know, the State Senate is held by a majority of Democrats, 21 to 19. That's it. a 2 vote majority. Just as a thought exercise; If Virginia militia members were to perform Citizens Arrests on say, 3 of the 9 State Senators in the judiciary committee that voted to allow these bills to go to the Senate and hold them under arrest in separate Undisclosed locations until after the vote, Virginians might not have to deal with these laws. Let us further imagine (because this is just a thought exercise) that these treasonous Senators were held under citizen's arrest for awhile until these shitty laws are voted down. Then they could be released totally unharmed into the custody of Law enforcement with a strong recommendation that they be prosecuted for Treason. Again, just a thought exercise. Not saying anyone SHOULD do this, not recommending it. Just thinking out loud.

Sarah Black actually no they didn’t. Fredricks county has the ability to go anytime they want because they had the option to go when W.V. Was split off originally and legally there is no time limit for them to go, they can at any time. W. V. Offered to all counties but there is a longer legal path to make that happen for the rest of the countys.

Lots of cops I know who were on the fence about gun control took a hard right when they saw the destructiveness of antifa and BLM the last several years that overwhelmed them. Ironically the more nuts the left become, the more switched on the rest of the country gets.

I love guns and I'd love to collect guns but it's sad when I feel like my main focus gun wise should be buying ammo and training for a fight

@Lycurgus Except very recent history shows people won't turn them in. Look at NZ and how hard their gun confiscation failed. The police are already saying they will not enforce these laws to the point where the governor stated they will call in the National Guard, at which point Trump can seize control of the Virginia National Guard for his own command and order a stand down. There is no need for violence because the laws will never be enforced.

The government failed to protect our lives, liberty and happiness. The predators of the police state wreaked havoc on our freedoms, our communities, and our lives. West Virginia has now offered a resolution (I read it this morning) inviting ALL independent cities and counties in Virginia to become a part of West Virginia because of this gun-grabbing garbage. New love for WVa!

Washington State Legislature will be considering an ammunition ban. This ban would limit the possession of ammunition to no more than 50 rounds in total per household. Further more they're looking to ban all popular rifle ammunition and most popular Handgun Ammunition as well as a Statewide background check to purchase ammunition and a high-end luxury tax for all ammunition sales.

i'M retired law enforcement (disabled retired) -- we learned taking out alarm systems (barking dogs) from the military. The practice is so wrong! However, the thing is it has always been the way to aid in raids since the American Indian. Virginia is catering to law and military because it's those forces who will be used to take citizen guns away, so they need sharpened skills to work in urban America. Dark days are ahead for us. Because of our government.

Eric I always appreciate the political discourse. If people are saying they've had enough for the day, I'd say they should spend less time watching mainstream news and start coming here instead. You always keep it real and you are a perfect example of what every American should strive to be like. You set a great example for the gun community and America. I am an extraordinarily good judge of character and I've been watching this channel since the days of "cut shells". You are a very good honest man. When the people voted for Donald Trump they didn't really want Donald Trump. The people wanted you.

@Jacob Howell that simply isn't true. I'm a Liberal, I'm very Pro-2A, we just have different priorities when it comes to our political values. I think at the end of the day we all want mostly the same things when it comes to rights/liberties, we just have different ideas about how to get there.

Eric Rakes our founding fathers made it very clear they thought parties would ruin our government and that they never wanted true parties like they are today

The thing that always gets me about the whole “only the police and military should be allowed to have guns...” is that the majority of civilians that carry have more training and train on a more regular basis than most police officers. No one seems to want to acknowledge this fact...

Matt Smith In California the cops are rewarded by the State Government with special gun privileges. That’s how the state gets protection and obedience from the cops. The cops obey ALL orders from the California state government.

@@ffarmchicken Uh, no. That isn't how it works. There are plenty of departments in CA (obviously I won't name which ones) who defy Sacramento's regulation on guns regularly. Not to mention, gun control never is left to the hands of local PD, it is always enacted by state level agents.

I kept telling my VA buddies that this was gonna happen, since it happened here in MD... but they laughed and said it would never. They aren't laughing now... These laws will pass, these anti gunners don't care what you have to say.

The governor has declared a state of emergency and banned all firearms from the state grounds.

Ill be going to the rally in Richmond VA. I actually live in the county where our tyrannical governor is from and still has family.
